RnBAmbassador said: Anita Baker was on a flight to a concert once and this guy I know was flying back to his hometown, where the concert was being held.
He and his wife were big Baker fans, so he approached Baker and told her that he was flying back home after being out of town for a business meeting and that he and his wife had tickets for her show that night. He asked her for an autograph and she said, "No", she further added, "If I sign one for you, then I will have to sign one for evetbody else on this plane". He replied, 'No one else asked you for your autograph".

This is what happened in Nigeria with Anita Baker last year. $9000 was for a table of ten.
http://speechgirlbucknor....r-was.html What were the facts of the case?
Here is what I pieced together. - When Anita Baker was contracted, she had been informed that some guests would pay for tables. - The hall was set banquet style with tables, and dinner and drinks were to be sold. - Tickets cost 450, 900 and 9000 dollars and these came with dinner promised. - Anita Baker came into the hall at 6pm, and said she would not perform because it was a show and the hall had been arranged banquet style. - The organisers removed half of the tables and arranged them theatre style, then explained to Anita and her crew that some people had actually bought tables. - Anita Baker still refused to perform. - The organisers then pleaded with her to let them serve dinner, then remove the tables and arrange all the chairs theatre style. - Dinner was quickly served while the Nigerian acts performed. - Unfortunately, Anita Baker still refused to perform. Where you hear that from? Rick and Miles were Chaka's close friends. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

Where you hear that from? Rick and Miles were Chaka's close friends. In her book, she said that Miles(in a joking matter) sat on his knees and stuck his head between her crotch which in result, led to a severe ass kicking.

I didn't want to be the one to say it; this was apparently their first encounter too

As for Rick James...
I read once from his message board that after the recording of their duet "Slow Dancing" they hanged out in the hotel where he was staying in, where he made a practical joke on her(I can't remember exactly what but I remember that it could've ended up with her hair on fire ). Anyway, she really roughed him up which led some of the guests next door call for security for fear that there might be a violent altercation,,,,only to find Slick Rick on the floor gasping for air from laughter EDIT: In his book, he said that she scared a mafiaso dude in one of his parties, she was buzzed and having a ball but thise dude was YAPPING alot of shit untill she turned to him, pointed her finger straight at his face and said "I need you to shut the fuck, immediately" and he did JUST that Rick said, the man later confessed that "as tiny as she is, she's one of the few women who put a scare in him for some reason".
