Oh, I don't think anyone is going to actually STOP working with him. Heck, I wouldn't even be surprised if he and Rihanna did another song/performance together.

I expect that to happen.

I hear it's true now. They're recording. What the heck are they going to sing about? It better not be a love song.

As atrocious as it its you're right. The public would love it. Maybe R. Kelly could write it. He seems to like doing those soap opera drama songs. This will secure them their little fan base 'cause right now a lot of people are looking at both of them with crooked eye.

Yeah, I read it was supposed to be a song for her only, but then the producer convinced them to sing together....some mess. It is supposed to be on his CD now. mad I have my doubts about that story. I just can't see it....it sounds so unbelievable.

Larry King's show had Joy from the View as the host and all the guests were breathlessly talking about this story and the issues it raises. They even brought on Nicole Brown Simpson's sister, Denise? Deborah? This story is rocking the industry. Never seen anything like it...P Diddy had a tense talk with Ellen on her show today; She questioned him about why he opened his home to Chris & Rihanna and he got defensive it seemed. Then Thursday Oprah will talk domestic abuse, which will surely be a ratings bonanza. Tyra's supposed to be on with her as well (maybe because she interview Chris about the abuse he saw as a child).

I like what Robin Givens said about Rihanna (on King's show) in that, she doesn't owe the media or public an explanation right now. What she really needs to do is take care of her own needs and try to get help for herself.

It will be interesting to see what happens when she finally goes out and about in public. People are so riled up. I can see folks yelling crap at her wherever she goes. The Team Breezy folks blame her for "ruining Chris' bright future" by being a "jealous b#@ch." And then others find her disgusting and a "bad role model" for young women. Yesterday Donald Trump said she's a "loser" if she stays with Chris and said she doesn't deserve to have any future success. If she's been in lala land all this time, she may be headed for a rude awakening.

I saw Diddy on Ellen. It was weird because the way he was talking about it sounded like there was more to it than what we know. Either that or he's just an idiot standing up for a friend of his.

I just read on the Rihanna Twitter page that she was in a recording studio yesterday, working with Polow Da Don. Yes, it's sad that I know about her Twitter page, but I just happen to know someone "following" her, and clicked onto it. bored

There is also one for Chris Brown, but that one seems fake. (But knowing these kinds of sites these days, all of the "celebrity" pages could be hosted by frauds. lol)

Diddy: I Did Chris & Rihanna a Favor by Opening My Home
By Brian Orloff

Originally posted Tuesday March 10, 2009 05:35 PM EDT

Diddy is speaking out about opening up his Miami home to Chris Brown and Rihanna several weeks after Brown was accused of assaulting his girlfriend.

"It was a dark time for them and I was there as more of a support," the music mogul said during an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that aired Tuesday. "I'm not immersed in [their situation]. I'm not going to pass judgment on it. I'm going to be there as a friend."

Clearly uncomfortable by the line of questioning – the talk show host raised the issue by asking Diddy to "clear something up" – the music mogul was initially defensive about his reasons for inviting the two to his Star Island home. (Brown was photographed jet skiing near the house, prompting criticism on the Web of his seemingly carefree behavior in light of the serious legal issues pending.)

"It's my house, and I'm allowed to give my house to whoever I want to give my house to," Diddy said on the show. "I don't cast a stone – cast judgment on anybody. So, if friends ask me for a favor, then I'm going to be there for a favor as long as I know the energy of the favor is positive."

Plus, Diddy added that he believes it's positive for "two people to sit down and talk about a situation they're in."

He also cautions to be wary of jumping to conclusions, saying, "We don't know exactly what's going on. There are two young individuals [involved]. We need to pray for them."

But, he told DeGeneres, "I don't think it's right for anybody to hit anybody."

Maybe I would possibly open my home as neutral ground for them to talk but with the condition that a counselor be involved. She obviously isn't trying to 'be out'. Do people see this as since Chris is young he's not a real threat? If he was a big hulking dude, would I let them meet at my house to talk? What if things went south and he started beating her right there in my great room or out by the pool and I had to go get my shotgun? I don't know. neutral

More on Chris and Rihanna, courtesy of TMZ:

Rihanna and Chris Brown Duet -- Feel the Love
Posted Mar 10th 2009 5:20PM by TMZ Staff

TMZ now has all the details about the secret late-night recording sessions between Rihanna and Chris Brown -- and they were jam-packed with emotion and serious drama, with some playful touching -- seriously.

The whole thing came together when they decided to reconcile shortly after the attack. Sources tell us music producer Polow Da Don convinced both Chris and Rihanna to get in the studio and record a love song stat, stressing that timing was important because the heightened emotions would translate powerfully into the music.

Both Rihanna and Chris agreed and snuck in a couple of "late night" sessions that we're told were "very, very emotional ... the feeling in the room was pure love." Clearly, love hurts.

As for how they got along, they were "playfully touching each other."

We're told the song was originally written for Rihanna before the fight, but after the beat down the producer believed the track -- which ironically focuses on overcoming difficult challenges as a couple -- would be the perfect duet.

Rihanna Gets Her Groove Back
Posted Mar 11th 2009 8:05AM by TMZ Staff

We just got a shot of Rihanna, sans accused felon boyfriend Chris Brown, in West Hollywood after a night of partying until around 4:00 AM.

RiRi was in the cab of a red pickup truck pulling out of Coco de Ville. We're told she spent almost four hours inside the club, wearing sunglasses the whole time.

Rihanna & Chris Brown -- Together ... Or Not
Posted Mar 11th 2009 9:45AM by TMZ Staff

Sources connected with Rihanna and Chris Brown tell us there's friction in the two camps -- over whether Rihanna and Brown should be seen in public together.

Rihanna's people are on high alert to make sure no one gets a photo of the alleged victim and the alleged felon together. They believe at this point it would be "extremely damaging" to her career. That may explain why we got video a few hours ago of Rihanna leaving a club at 4:00 AM without Brown.

On the other hand, Brown's peeps want nothing more than the shot showing that they're tight.

And then there's this ... a number of people who interact with Rihanna both personally and professionally want her to cut Brown out of her life for good. They resent him and are outraged at what he did.

Relationships are complicated.

Just saw CNN's Campbell Brown do one of her "rants" against Nickelodeon for not taking Chris' nomination away at the Kids Shows Awards. HE withdrew his own name today which I think was a good move.

Also, from People: http://www.people.com/peo...85,00.html

Rihanna's Night on the Town

After laying low in the wake of her allegedly violent argument with Chris Brown last month, Rihanna finally stepped out on Tuesday night to celebrate her 21st birthday with friends.

There was no sign of Brown.

Just before 1 a.m., Rihanna whose actual birthday was Feb. 20 arrived at Coco de Ville in West Hollywood wearing denim shorts, a long printed jacket, and sunglasses she never removed. "She looked good and was smiling and laughing," says an eyewitness.

The singer and her pals sat in a private, guarded area, where they sipped on cocktails and feasted on a pink cupcake tower decorated with sparklers and birthday candles. Rihanna kept her friends entertained by dancing in her seat to songs by 50 Cent and T.I., and when it came time to leave, the source says the singer was "in good spirits."

Brown at Work
Meanwhile, a source says Brown has been in the studio working with producers including Polow Da Don, who worked on one of Brown's last big hits "Forever," as well as Usher's "In This Club," "Buttons" by the Pussycat Dolls (featuring Snoop Dogg), and "Glamorous" by Fergie (featuring Ludacris).

Although songwriters were asked before the Grammys to pen a duet for Brown and Rihanna for Brown's new album, a source confirms that the couple has not yet recorded it.

Good! I hope that's true and it never gets recorded...that's bullshit! And Tina Brown is denying the report of her sending a "raunchy" "email" even though the stories clearly said "text". She says she'll take legal action if they find out who leaked her name. lol.....Somebody put her stuff on blast lmao!! I believe that one, for some reason...I really do. I bet Sandra Rose is tickled pink. She put the Tina Davis/Chris Brown story out there a couple years back.

I am also liking the report on TMZ about "friction" between Rihanna's and Brown's camps, and that Rihanna's people want her to stay clear of him, while Brown's people are trying to get a shot of them together for the paparazzi. Edit: I say I like reading that because it shows that someone in her inner circle has good sense at least.

Campbell can go off when she wants to. lol I'll have to catch the video. Nobody should have had to encourage or told him to pull his name from that Kids show but it's a good thing he did.

Tina sounds like she's trying to save her butt. Young bucks are nice but not when they're your client and especially when they're underaged. She's hot because her dirty laundry fell out the closet.

I'm with you on the tension between camps. I'd like to think that someone somewhere has some semblance of sense around those two. I was thinking if I were on their team I'd probably resign because I wouldn't, couldn't be a part of this. Especially if something happens to her later on.

Wow, wow and more wow.

When Rihanna debuted my friend used to be one of her handlers. Of course that relationship ended but I heard the same ole they used to fight and make up all the time. No dish there.

I’m not a fan of either one of them although I do like Rihanna’s hair cut, Please Don’t Stop the Music and the fact that she wasn’t Beyonce but now I really have no feeling toward her. I heard someone on the radio saying the message this sends to young girls is massive. Especially the ones that were quick to ask “what did she do?”

As for Diddy, for all his charity and charming personality, there’s something about him that has never sat right with me. He strikes me as someone who is not in the best place to comment on any of this so I’m not surprised at how he seemed or by what he may have said. His relevancy in 2009 is beyond me.

When Rihanna debuted they weren't even dating! They met in 2005 and have now only been dating a year and a half.

Um, of course I know this especially since she was one of the people who helped her get situated in the U.S. Since she still works in the industry I was simply hoping to get more info other than the same stuff we've been hearing. wink

God she is dumb.....both of them are..he should have left her alone after that one and helped his OWN career. Is he still sleeping with his manager? He obviously still has to speak to her.

If the story of Chris Brown and Rihanna teaches us anything, it's that the cloak of celebrity can't protect against violence and abuse. And the statistics on partner abuse bear that out: One in four women will be a victim of domestic violence in their lifetime.

And young women, like Rihanna, are at the greatest risk. What's more, women who have been victims of choking, as Rihanna allegedly was, are twice as likely to later be killed by their partners as those who were attacked but not choked.

Unfortunately, Rihanna is not the first celeb to find herself in a potentially abusive pairing. Search reveals others:

Diane Lane: In 2004, shortly after she married actor Josh Brolin, police arrested Brolin on misdemeanor domestic battery charges. Lane refused to press charges.

Madonna: In 1988, her former husband Sean Penn was charged with felony domestic assault after hitting her. She later filed for divorce.

Tina Turner: The story of her violent 16-year marriage to Ike Turner was told in the film "What's Love Got to Do With It." (Charges were never filed, and Ike reportedly admitted to only occasionally hitting his wife.)

Is someone you know in an abusive relationship? (Search for signs.)

What can you do to help? (Search for support.)
