Unfortunately his quality control over the last few years has been very poor, although there's always at least one gem on his albums. It would have been better though for him to release one really strong album as opposed to the upcoming 3CD box; can't say I've been impressed by anything I've heard on the new website though.

Are you talking about Prince's 3CD set?

Seeing that some people have been posting today solely about Michael Jackson in the Prince only forum, I figured I'd post about Prince solely in this Michael Jackson thread.

I was just listening to "Break Of Dawn", "Heaven Can Wait" and "Butterflies" today. It'll be nice if he include it in his performance, and I don't think he ever leaves a performance without doing "Billie Jean".

I will not stoop so low and respond like the way you did, mong's post history doesn't prove in any way that he was comdeic in his posts especially about Mj, he has been constantly posting crap and nonesense on Every MJ thread and he is doing this right now... and im the insecure one? how ? when i have never trashed prince on any of his threads , when i have never mentioned MJ on any prince thread, i have been joining this board for almost 2 years and i never trashed prince like you guys constantly do to MJ and i have never started any Mj thread. and whether i want to talk about any artist is my business, not yours, keep your advices to yourself, I can talk about what i want, its not your business. [Edited 3/3/09 16:55pm] MJ would not peform if he is not in a good shape and good health, simple basic common sense!, would you perform while a bug eating your body Very true, even Roger Friedman (MJ fan's favorite journalist) agrees with you! Jacko Passes Medical Tests, May Announce Shows Thursday Michael Jackson has passed the required medical tests so he can perform this summer in London. Jackson — I can tell you exclusively— has no looming diseases or any other physical ailments that would prevent him from getting insurance or making his commitment to AEG Live for 10-30 shows this year. He received a clean bill of at least physical health. Jackson arrived at the Lanesborough Hotel Tuesday, a pricey spot that is a converted hospital. As this column first reported in December 2007, Jackson will perform at the O2 Arena outside London later this summer. AEG Live has guaranteed him $10 million for 10 concerts. If the shows are well received and attended, and Jackson can make the commitment, AEG Live will have him do a total of 20-30 shows with a possible $30 million total. It's a great deal for a faded pop star who hasn't performed live in an arena setting since 2001. All he has to do is perform his "Thriller" album and a few miscellaneous hits. The deal solves Jackson's immediate cash problems. He owes $7 million to Prince Abdulla of Bahrain in a settled breach of contract suit. He's also possibly over $50 million in debt to Colony Capital LLC. Colony's emissary, mysteriously named Dr. Tohme Tohme, is Jackson's manager now, too. If Jackson were smart, he'd include his brothers and sister, cut them in for a little action, and make the O2 Arena shows a family affair. Jackson's performance with his brothers at his 30th anniversary shows at Madison Square Garden in September 2001 were the highlights of the concert. Maybe because he didn't do anything noteworthy since then? Well, he was charged with several serious criminal offenses, put on trial, but ultimately acquitted...I thought that was all rather noteworthy! Concerts, you say? After all the water that's flowed under the bridge, does he have an audience anymore? Stay tuned... "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. London set for MJ windfall Michael Jackson is to announce a 30 performance deal at the o2 Arena in London which will mean £100 million to London's economy, the capital is set to go "MJ" mad in the next months! The capital is bracing itself for a recession busting 30 live performance show at the o2 by Michael Jackson, in what will be a windfall for London's hotels, transport and leisure industry. Michael Jackson is believed to have agreed a £50 million deal with promoters to stage a "residency" at the world famous o2 Arena in Greenwich which has provoked the global media's attention. The Times has reported that talks between the o2 venues owners AEG Live have also focused on the star being able to fulfill all the dates with speculation that Michael Jackson's health has been deteriorating. One Michael Jackson fan Michael Antoniou speaking to the London Daily News outside the Langsborough Hotel yesterday said: "This is great news for all Michael Jackson fans, this will be a global event and I expect each date to be sold out". London has been faced with gloomy economic news but the onset of the 30 performances by Michael Jackson is estimated to be worth to London's economy in the region of £100 million, a welcome trend in an otherwise bleak period for London. I tried to warn you guys Last week, someone started a thread titled "MJ Overkill" and posted it in the Site Discussion forum, but instead of showing a little restraint, some of you kept starting new MJ threads (lol). And now, when there is actually some real news to discuss, you're left with this one sticky I see that you started a thread asking where is the Madonna sticky.I think, for the most part, the Madonna threads aren't out of control.Lately,Michael and DeBarge have been discussed here alot more than Madge.I'm probably the biggest Madonna fan on this site, but even I have no need to start threads about her unless there's something relevent and newsworthy to discuss (such as a new album or tour).Just relax and chill out.For now, this sticky will be the place to discuss the upcoming tour.Other fans, such as bboy87,seem to have no problem with this.
