It was funny watching the fans chanting "This Is It" "This Is It" thinking that it meant This is the big event, the main thing.
No what it meant looks as if there celebrating the fact that Wacko is doing his last shows in London.

Do you notice those men in the front row, arms out streched, sickening, 7000 people turning up to cheer on the man who likes to sleep with little boys.

The world is one truly messed up place.

Dude, he was found not guilty by a jury of 12 people! Give the man a break.

Besides that, the boy's family have tried to grab money from other famous folks in the past like Larry King, Jay Leno, George Lopez, etc. etc. They're welfare frauds. The boy's mom tried to sue JC Penney as well accusing some guard of trying to grab her breast? Along with that, they kept changing their story in the Michael Jackson case too.

Wow that sounds a really credible family huh?

Thanks! I doubt I'd go even if he was in the states!

Yeah sure..... lol lol ....that's what they all say.... lol lol lol

I wouldn't go even if given a front row seat, actually that'd be more frightening than sitting up high. No interest in seeing him now because he's just a shell of his former self.

I totally understand why the faithful are so excited, since he hasn't performed live for so long. But for those of us who only like his old stuff, it would only be a downer. Who'd want to deal with the superdupercrazies just to watch him lip-sync & pose?

I'm one of those folk you describe (old school) i'm going out of respect. I've no doubt, that unlike the Dangerous and History tours, Mike will try to bring it live again.

I spent most of my time during his HIStory gigs walking around chatting to other fans, i got bored with all the lip-synching.

Got a feeling this will be different, he knows he aint in his twenties no more, he has a point to prove to everyone, even if he has only half his energy from the 80's, it'll do.

Prince knows this too, he relies on his instruments over the splits these days, i'm sure Mike will be working hard vocally between now and July, if he throws a few moves like James always could as an older act, i'll be more than happy.

I'm a glass half full over glass half empty kinda guy!

My mate was on BBC News 24 the other day and was interviewed on LBC radio about the concerts this evening. She was asked to get into a debate about the shows with naysayers - even though we whinge about MJ all the time in private but have to appear positive in public. She was really good very calm and totally rational, YAY.

She even slipped in a word about seeing Prince at the O2 and loving it when having to comment on the venue biggrin

good news. He did a twenty-five minute stint live with his bro's in '01 at MSG, I liked the rawness of it, i know alot said he'd gone vocally, but i disagreed, if he comes rough and ready in the fast numbers and onpoint on the slow ones that'll do for me.

I like growly Mike, reminds me of JB.

Michael OWNS the Beatles (kind of!)

This massive interest in these gigs just says to me Michael Jackson eclipses everyone else, end of story!

instead of the O2, he should have done ten at Wembley Stadium to start off with.

I never understood why he lipsynced like crazy during the Dangerous Tours and History Tours.

Maybe he was just burned out during those days with all that performing and pressure to be the King of Pop.

Not really. You're the one coming across like a screaming ninny. He kissed his career goodbye Shame really, after years of trying, 'A Different Class' was Pulp's big breakthru and then :tumblweed:. A minor figure in the grand scheme of things.

No, only half. google up 'sony atv' website

A joint ownership, between Sony and Michael Jackson. To my understanding, He's actually better off, if you are signed to Sony, MJ gets paid. simple as.

The point is weather innocent or not you DONT share your Bed with other peoples children it opens you up to all sort of allegations.

on topic now i read Despite expecting thousands of fans to descend on the venue, organisers were embarrassed when just a few hundred turned up.

They were forced to hijack crowds who had turned up to see the X Factor tour, which was on at the venue later in the day. The star has now launched a one-off telly advertising drive to ensure fans turn up to see him perform his final live gigs.

I agree with your statement, but he's been found not guilty- that's my point. Why do people keep referring to him as a pedophile/molester still when a jury of 12 people found the man not guilty? Its unfair to him and plain mean.

So why is MJ adding another 10 concerts in London then, if his turnout was forced by people over there?

Michael has very loyal fans over there.

Why is it, if Michael is as washed up as you say, all the news stations are going crazy over this? Plus, tickets have sold out, and they've added on more dates.

I'd say that Michael is just as popular as he ever was.

I can show you threads on MJJCommunity, King of Pop Discussion, MJStreet, Maximum Jackson, MJWorld, MJFC, the MJCN, and other clubs and sites in America, the UK, and other parts of Europe and the world to see the conference.

It never ceases to amaze me why people who care nothing for Michael Jackson keep trying to add their same inane rant over and over every opportunity they get. Whats the deal with that? have nothing better to do than to spew your hate? What wondeful lives you must lead.

Let the MJ fans enjoy this moment in time, we all have a right to be happy about these concerts and what maybe around the corner i.e. more concerts. Some of you barked as loud as you could the past few years that this day would never come and how wrong some of you were! We've waited for a long time and finally will be getting our hearts desire. Let people be ecstatic if they want without some of you guys coming in to ruin it with your drivel!

Its all good people.....if Prince fans can be happy with what their artist is doing, why can't MJ fans be left alone to enjoy what their artist is doing too?

So totally agree. I am just excited that two artists I have followed since I was 8 are bringing out new stuff this year and there is a chance to potentially see them both live. Gotta love that.

As for the "crazy" fans yelling "this is it", it's no different to being in club and people chanting "31 21". Let people enjoy the moment without bringing negativity into it.
