It's really easy to dismiss Britney as a spoiled trailer-trash brat, but her situation right now has gone well beyond just being stupid and looking far more tragic. I think that this woman is seriously mentally ill and needs intensive psychological help. I think that whatever drugs she has taken have been for self-medication, as I believe this woman has bipolar disorder. That would explain why she alerts the paparazzi on some days when she decides to go out in public and splash in the ocean in her underwear or flash us her privates when heading into a club while on other days she attacks the paparazzi with an umbrella and skips her mandatory court dates due to some unforseen "illness". I have heard a number of anecdotal reports from some journalists who say that she suffers from depression, and if this is the case, then she needs help right now, and she needs to get away from Hollywood like Lindsay Lohan eventually did. Otherwise, we'll be reading her obituary before this year is over.

I can't stand the bitch but I feel sorry for her kids more than anything and yeah, I feel sorry for her too. Stevie Wonder can see that she's in dire need of help. It's too bad that she's not getting her shit together but maybe this situation will be the straw to break the camel's back. If not, then the prediction that mirrorbestfriend made will happen. No question about that.

Brittney Spears is one big mess. She needs to stop hanging out drinking & running into people. The media makes it worse, by following her around giving her useless air time. Enough Already! I would say that her family could try to apply for a "guardianship," but her family--including K-fed--seems to have ulterior motives about Britney herself and her fortune even though they might have the kids' best interest in mind. I just wouldn't trust them with a guardianship over Britney because I just think none of them appear to care about Britney as a person.

It just a sad situation to witness... And really it was shocking to see this on the news last night included among all political discussions.

It's obvious something needs to be done. I wonder if somebody from the outside--somebody she could trust whose interest wouldn't be Britney's money could come-in and help her.... There has GOT to be somebody with her best interest at heart. Her family, lovers.. and her "team" just have too much financially to gain from her..

Does anyone know if "the state" or some social service group--or somebody from the outside could obtain a guardianship and power of attorney.. to handle Britney's affairs including her dealings with K-fed, her kids, and her immediate family??? Is that even possible?

P.S. I remember reading about Frank Sinatra taking care of a former heavy-weight boxer.... So.. could some celebrity--like even Madonna maybe?? could he/she come in and try to help?? Somebody like Madge would have nothing to gain from Britney... She would have no ulterior motives.

I know that sounds silly, but Britney's family seems to be just horrible. Didn't Joe Dimaggio try to help Marilyn Monroe? I know they were married and divorced, but I think I read he tried to help her. That's the kind of person Britney needs in her life.
