excited

But how many times do I have to own Thriller? Why can´t they release the unreleased stuff as a completely new CD?

lol you´re crazy. I have only two copies. One original CD and one remastered one. I don´t feel like having another one. I want something different.

I never took care of my cds and tapes growing up lol
The vinyl was a my introduction to Michael Jackson. My brothers broke it, made me cry, and my parents whupped their asses!

The tapes I would listen to the point to wearing them out. The CDs? they break to damn easily lol

Yeah, its all good.

BUT, I think we would all prefer NEW Michael work, not old re-released stuff.

I could never understand that. I treat my cassettes and CDś as if they were jewels. I never had to buy anything more than once. Not even tapes. I guess that´s because they have always been very expensive here. and you don´t wanna spend that money on something you´ve already had.

I've only had ABC twice.

Off The Wall? twice on vinyl, 3 times on cassette, 5 times on CD, and once on 8 track!

BAM! lol

Say Say Say is another video from that era that hasn´t been released yet. I´d like other songs than Hot Street, Niteline etc, cause I already have those. lol And they´re ok, but I am sure Mike has better ones. Has anyone heard Love never felt so good? that sounds like something from that era and it´s beautiful!

For better or for worse, Thriller transformed popular music and entertainment. Even if you think the songs on Thriller are overrated, its impact is undeniable in particular on music videos, marketing, etc. Furthermore, it opened the doors for other black artists to become a staple on MTV.

Yea. my family knew what to get me for my birthday and Christmas.

My mom had Thriller and Off The Wall on vinyl when I was little and that's how I became a fan. My brothers, godsisters, cousins, my best friend and his mom were all big MJ fans(my brothers stopped being fans when they discovered rap. That was their downfall to listening to horrible music)
We had The Making Of Thriller and Moonwalker on VHS already, Bad on cassette so I was already hooked. I remember going to Sam Goody the day Dangerous came out. I had just turned 4 lol but I didn't get the album until 2 years later, while my godsister bought it and played the hell out of it everyday!
My first CD and cassette was Off The Wall(the original cover!)

You should read my Thriller 25 thread. I told the whole story how I became a fan
