I totally agree with you! That's racial espionage if you ask me. I cannot think of one Black artist that has been nominated twice in two years and win again! I used to love U2, but this album is the worsest album of their careers! I stopped caring about them after Mysterious Ways. They sound so repetitive and monotonous repetitive now. I do like Gwen Stefani's new jam! And I cannot get into Green Day at all!

So this was 1 of the few times that Madonna has disappointed me. Great per4mance, but it was the xact same great per4mance from the EVMA's with a different outfit. And WTF the point of The Gorillaz being up there? I hate it when the Grammys turns their stage in2 a time share 4 the per4mers.

And was it just me or did any1 else have nightmare last night about a giant Cockatiel?

My Grammy thoughts:

1) Madonna--great to see her, she looked hot and danced great but her singing was only OK and it was the same exact performace she been doing of that song for months now...routine is tired, she could've cooked up something new.

2) Mariah--actually really liked her second song, Fly like a bird, thought she killed it, was funny that it was supposed to be HER night and she lost every category that was televised and only won at the pre show. poor bitch, the grammys will never give it up to her it seems.

3) Mary J--so much passion...so few good sounding notes. and such an unflattering combo with U2.

4) U2--why the muthafuckas win EVERYTHANG every year? they seem to be the default of Grammy voters...why? it just shows how irrelevant and out of touch the Grammys are.

5) Kanye--great performance, great outfit on the carpet (see Madonna ain't the ONLY ONE rockin the 70s).

6) Kelly Clarkson--how she beat out Fiona for best pop album is beyond me. she is so generic, boring, unexciting, unoriginal...yuck. mass produced pop crap at it's worst.

7) Fiona Apple--looking DIVINE...I'm still as in love with her as I was in 10th grade.

8) Jennifer Love Hewitt--looking fiiiiine

9) Eve--looking good. is she even still a musician?

10) Missy--shoulda won more, looked great.

11) Sly Stone peformance--Joss Stone aside, kicked ARSE! great set...although it didn't seem very well rehearsed.

12) Sheryl Crow--cute in the face but those titties be too damn small for that dress.

13) Jay Z/Linkin Park--MAKE IT STOP! God awful...then Paul McCartney...oh my lawd...sooooo bad.
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

I think that Christina Aguilera was absolutely the best thing about tonight's show.

John Legend sucked major donkey balls.

The Sly tribute: A hot mess. They have the Family Stone come onstage to only be buried in the background and all of them were there except Larry.

As much as I do not like Mariah Carey, this should have been a big night for her. with all she's been through, her comeback was pretty amazing.

I disagree with Christina,,why must she over emote EVERY DAMN NOTE!
She has an amazing gift of a voice but rams it down your throat ugh
less sometimes IS more honey..for my money Springsteen and Mary J.
were great..you may say Mary J. oversings..but for me,it came from a
raw and real place, not showboating, and Bruce..well he said more in
his minimal aproach then everyone combined

I thought Madonna looked embarrasing as well! Sister, you are NOT a young hot filly anymore! Tone it down a lot, then you will look hot! Mariah was great to me! Those idiotic Grammy voters have something personal against this lady! Probably too over-talented! I have not liked Kelly Clarkson since American Idol. She sounds and is now musically programmmed like a female Barry Manilow -so drab, dull, and corny for Southern and Middle White America! I was a fierce Sly Stone fan, but now, before he decides to return back to music, he must deal and face some serious health issues, or it doesn't look great at all! U2 is too boring and monotonous sounding now - receiving Grammys like the Pope - ridiculous! Mary needs some professional singing lessons or she will be embarrassed. I like John Legend - maybe he's also too talented for some people to handle. Hate Green Day! Give me Marilyn Manson over them! Boring! Will be a footnote in 2 years. Gwyneth Paltrow's hubby - Chris Martin in Coldplay - A horrible imitation of U2 - Sucks!

Glad Kayne won something! Whether you love or hate this man - his jams are being played on Black,White and Latino stations, unlike U2, Green Day, and Kelly Clarkson. I don't hear their music being played on Black stations at all, yet they win awards like everyone is privy or supposed to be listening to their music! Paul McCartney is still one of the hottest entertainers - Black or White! He kicks a lot of the other entertainers' asses in talent! Brother still has the fiyah! That's when you born talented that keeps you there!

Mariah Carey - 2 Grammys

According to CNN's Showbiz Tonight

See, I really don't think it would be possible for "One" to suck live, no matter how off-key or loud Mary was singing.

I'm a huge fan, but I can tell when she's having an off night or "oversinging" as she gets accused of a lot of the time. I didn't think she was last night. She sold the song. But then again, I seem to be in the increasing minority who wish that Sly thing hadn't happened at all.
