As part of the Rebuilding Project, just ordered these 2 pieces of vinyl yesterday...
Johnny Smith - The Johnny Smith Quartet - Royal Roost - 1955 The 1st Jazz guitarist I ever heard. As a kid, I snuck this album out of my Dad's collection and basically ruined it by playing it over and over again on my crap stereo. The Mandala - Soul Crusade - Atlantic - 1968 One of the best blue-eyed Soul bands i'd ever heard. Out of Canada no less. Chicago - Chicago Transit Authority Remastered release of the group's 1st album by Rhino Buddy Guy - This Is Buddy Guy! IMO, the definitive Buddy Guy recording. Live and pre-polka dot Strat. Miles Davis - The Complete Birth of the Cool Remastered and includes the only "legitimate" live Royal Roost recordings. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all." | |
