It is the summer and Prince is owning it and itsa still early summer.

I taped the Casey Kasem show with Prince beiong th e "number one with When Dovez Cry" ...I have Casey doing A pre synopsis lie he always does-did..he talked about prince geting booed earlier at The Stones and how he had the numbe rone on th e dance chart, pop and record etc and how he was number one with only being on th e charts i such few weeks with When Doves Cry


I also have tpaed the radio spot commericals where it has the "lets have some action" at the begginning and then the overman says "it is more than an album, it is more than a movie, its Prince and the Revolution" etc and and another spot where a different announcer sates about the movie "before he created the music..he lived every bit of it" like the trailer had etc

also a dj Kim Abadon etc sating the story of Prince being booed just a few years ago...but her partner says "and now here's Lets Go Crazy, out hot pic, by Prince and the REVELATION" he called them lol...

I want someday to put these clasic commercial air spots etc on a disc but dont know or have the technology

Naw, just kidding. I've done goofy shit back in the day. I remember when Purple Rain first came on cable. We didn't have a VCR back then because they were just coming out and they were expensive. So I used taped certain parts with an audio recorder. I actually have "answer me mutherfuker" on an audio tape.

I dunno if "sick" is the correct title for this thread. A sickness usually means something is wrong!!

I think we have all been to extremes. I remember going on an overnight trip to Holland to see a gig and deciding to stay on and hook up with the rest of the tour! Lost my job when I got back, well they graciously let me resign after a long and agonising please explain, but how do you explain getting "the fever"!!

Losing the plot with flatmate cos acidentally tapes over a tape I had of UTCM tv ads.

Going to the cinema every night for weeks watching said movie till it got to the point where the people at the cinema stopped charging us the entry fee! Oh and must add dressing up in all our Prince gear to go see the movie!
