Was There A Long Verision Of 'Shockadelica'?

If so, does anything know the length of it?

Shockadelica-6:12

What's a drag is that on the vinyl 12" is that "If I was Your Girlfriend" is listed as an extended version, but is actually the album version, talk about disappointed the first time I played it.

Yeah me too. But I guess they meant "extended" in comparison to the 45 / single release which faded out the talking bits at the end ("I swear I'll drink every ounce...etc.).

Could be, but that wasn't the case about any of his other singles that had the album version on the 12", it might've been a typo that's was intended for Shockadelica, that would make more sense IMO.

You have to remember that 'Shockadelica' wasn't actually
on any released album, so compared to the regular 7" version,
it was 'extended'. The same applies to a lot of Prince's b-sides.
Where the so called 'extended version' is actually the 'full
length version' and the regular 7" version is actually an edit.

Oh yeah I know "Shockadelica" wasn't on any album, I'm also aware of everything else you stated, but on the twelve inch front cover it says "If I was your girlfriend" extended version. shrug
