Sadly Rarely Performed Prince Songs The following is a list of Prince Songs from his regular released that I would love to hear him perform live. I have only seen Prince live twice and have a limited knowledge of his setlists, but I believe he has rarely, if ever performed the following gems:

It's fair to say these are rarely performed. Having said that, it is welcome to note that of this list, Prince has performed about one third during the last 18 months - usually 'live' - sometimes soundcheck or aftershow

Hey Phil, Prince actually did a short piece of Paisley Park during THE SOUNDCHECKS boot. The first disc has a piece from Detroit where my friend Dennis yelled out for Prince to play Paisley and he did.

During the Purple Rain tour he did cool rehearsals containing songs such as 'When We're Dancing Close And Slow' and 'Bedtime Story'.

how many times has prince performed dolphin live? i dare say, very few. something like once or twice on the 1995 european tour. he did it on letterman in dec. '94 too and it was boring! maybe he thi nks it doesn't work well live.
has anyone witnessed a killer version of dolphin live?  no he did it at xenophobia last year and at paris bataclan aftershow, but he makes the audience sing the chorus and it's kind of anti-climactic that way, imo.Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com
