Personally, I think Candy is the best horn player Prince has had since Eric in the 80s.
Candy fits in much better with Prince's new sound/image these days, I think. Maceo is a close 2nd. Not to say Eric is bad in any way...I just prefer the playing of the former two with Prince's latest sound. Eric is sort of "Saturday Night Live" for me these days, or something...eh... It doesn't hurt that Candy is sexy too.  | |
