I thought he sent it to them to work on, but he didn't use anything they did on the track. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I think you're right. but at the same time-i heard that the girls said. 'not interested". we're into our own stuff..." i guess there was still plenty of animosity between the girls at prince at the time. | |

I read a quote from either Wendy or Lisa saying that he did send them this track and asked them to work on it...they did, and sent it back, and they never heard from him again.

So lemme get this str8, there was actualy a 1st take that features Wendy & Lisa but Prince re-recorded another version where he plays all the instrument.
I wonder what made him un-impressed about their take? | |

I wonder what made him un-impressed about their take? I don't think they actually did a "take" of the song, they made some suggestions to him on paper. And they didn't hear back from him although the both thought it was "sweet". | |
