The construction at Paisley Park..... What were they building at the Park a few years ago? Anybody know any details?

Anyway it was supposed to be a restaurant and Prince changed his mind so the building sits unfinished and empty. For whatever reason a lot of people don't believe this explanation, but I got this story from about 5 different staff members at various PP parties and it is the truth. | |

Of what I heard, and this is a while ago (early 2001), that the rounded tower/silo was supposed to be a food bank, then I heard a digital recording studio and a concert hall for his npgmc family.

i think this building was refered to in the song Mellow as The Egg.
Someone told me once that he intended it to be somewhere that homeless people could come and eat.Dont know how accurate that is though.
