Which do you prefer?

nothing wrong with 'ATWIAD'...Parade's just too good 4 it.

Parade...it has a steady voice from "Christopher Tracy's Parade" to "Venus de Milo" (technically, side one)

Around the World in a Day doesn't have a constant "flow" to me...it's not like water; it's more like running down the street and stopping for a red light...whatever that means

it's a goofy masterpiece and it just sounds like they are having so much fun, especially on the 1st half...

I feel you, though. ATWIAD has wonderful songs. But it definitely doesn't have the flow or cohesion of Parade.

Parade is a good party, but actually only a small amount of well written songs.

ATWIAD is solid songs throughout.

Anyone remember Prince dis-owning Parade for a few years? He admitted it was rushed and only contained two well written songs, Kiss and Girls & Boys. Thats why none of the other songs made it live beyond the Parade tour, with the exception of Snows in April, because the fans voted it in, in 93.

I'd add a few to his list, but not many.

I love both albums, but it more the theme and mood than the classic tunes.

Parade is classic. It's more musically diverse and gripping. One is his most underrated albums. ATWIAD is very politically conscious. I love it when P talks politics. That was his most interesting stuff. Of course, Condition of the Heart is my favorite and is one of his most beautifully composed songs ever.

Funny...I had the urge to listen to both these CD's today. Haven't done that in quite a while and it amazes me how brilliant this man is...

Parade by a mile. ATWIAD is ok but as a whole doesn't flow near as well as Parade. I also think Temptation is one of the worst pieces of dribble P ever recorded...a self-indulgent mess.

I prefer ATWIAD

Both are good but Around The World has full, strong songs Parade has a few songs and alot of snippets.

Around The World In A Day gets my vote
