I think if they treated vinyl like in the 90s when they would leave off material to make it fit or put extra material on the CD version because it has more space that it would be better. we could have full CD's than instead of what we now getting with 60 minutes on empty unused space on the CD set that they could have filled with all the previously released material and some extra outtakes.

Yeah, i feel the same.

So much space lost is a pity especially when dozens of outakes from the era are waiting to be released on the Vault.

This said, i also get that the money is coming from that vinyl fashion

Well, see, they couldn't include all the outtakes nor fill the three vault CDs to the brim because then it wouldn't fit on the 5LP vault tracks set.

People are ready to pay (even a lot) more for a vinyl package, jus like i do.

Now, would 1 or 2 LP's more or less make a difference to create this SDE package? No.

Same for the production, and the same for the CD SDE package.

By the way, i'm not interested in this SDE release, but i'm gonna buy the whole shit anyway, Vinyls and CDs. Blue ray; see it once, maybe twice, and probably put it next to the other 9k vinyls just like i did with the W2A SDE package and a few other re-issue vinyls.

I’ve just listened to “I Wonder” and looked at some of the comments about it online. Some people have noted it sounds has musical similarities to the released “Elephants & Flowers” and there is no definite date it was recorded (e.g. Prince Vaults just says 1990 or 1991). Perhaps it was recorded early 1990 and was felt to fit more into the Graffiti Bridge era. Also for “Player” Prince Vault just mentions ‘at some point in 1991’, so if it falls after their arbitrary cut off date (say on or later than 1st October 1991), then it would be considered for the “Love Symbol” SDE (if one ever sees the light of day). Of course Prince Vault and us all could be wrong and these two tracks may be aren’t even from the D&P/Love Symbol era, time will tell?
