This is embarassing. Really. First they have the gall to charge 4 figures for tickets, with even the standard ticket being stupid expensive, and that didn't come with any actual info about the event. Then they try to assuage people's fears by saying they'd announce a lineup on the 26th. Day's almost over and not a peep.

Between shit like this and all the estate holders publicly fighting on twitter, this is just fucking pathetic. What an amateur-hour disgrace.

It looks like they fired Mitch McGuire at the wrong time and put the mess in the lap of a new person "who has to prove themselves".

I'd hate to be that new replacement.

Mitch was not fired. He resigned. There was no replacement at the time. Heard today that Londell moved into the physical office.

I don't have anything against the artists onboard but I can't say I'd ever spend anything close to $1200 to experience that lineup. Now it makes sense that Paisley Park tried to play on fans' FOMO and push them into buying tickets before the reveal tbh

You know the section on the 'Welcome 2 America' tour where fan switched off because it was simply becoming a caberet of background singers doing covers? The Celebration has become 3 nights of that.

I wouldn't be staying at the "recommended" hotels. I've got enough Radisson hotel points to stay at the Country Inn in Chanhassen for two weeks. You can stay there for for about !20 (and save by sharing rooms). But I'm not paying to go to this "celebration".

Notice that Chaka is only in a panel; her memories are so scrambled she keeps saying that she first met Prince at Electric Ladyland when he tricked her into thinking he was Sly. No, Chaka. THAT and accusing P of giving someone an STD?
I can't imagine sitting through a panel with her.
