From Drinking Long Island Ice Tea in the VIP with Prince, to hanging out at the 3121 mansion and hearing trax for the first time from NPG Music Club. Sam also compiled Ahdio shows etc. Worth a listen...and expands quite a bit on his experiences from part 1.

Thanks both I thought so too, glad it was of interest.
I got the impression from listening to this that to stay in Prince's employ, you had to kind of be confident in your own abilities and know who you were.
Seems to me that gave you a chance of longevity, or at least the possibility of being around for a year or two.
Sam comes across in interview as really grounded in that way.

Thanks for the heads up. Some interesting discussion. They both seem like nice guys. Anyone know what song is playing in episode 2 at about 10 minutes? Sounds like it might be one of TGRES remixes? Then at about 16.15 there is a slowed down version of TBODP. Where's that from? |

Ah thanks. Right after he passed I went through all my maxi singles. Not a huge fan of "Letitgo" so I'd have never got this on my own. Cheers. |

The song playing at 10mins in episode 2 is an extended mix of TGRES, the one that runs for approx 8mins I think...bass solo part is near the end.
