How about "Wednesday Like a River"? Overall it's a great song, but there's a line towards the very beginning that makes me cringe and never want to play it in front of people:

I feel similair. I hated it for the longest time because it's so sappy. Now I can appreciate it. I still think it's sappy, I still cringe at parts (particularly the "d to the i to the a to the m..." part), and I'd be ashamed to play it in front of friends, but I do now enjoy it in private.

No doubt the P Control chorus is cringey, I wouldn't be keen on playing it in front of people, but I do love the verses. .

I like Pussy Control's music. I think it's funky AF. I'm ambivalent about the verses. I'm embarssed by the chorus. I'm still amazed that he performed this on VH1.
