Tyka, who had held on to her 10% share of her expected inheritance, has now sold the last part to Primary Wave.

WTH? Why would she do that?

Does this make Primary Wave the majority “owners”?

You can see, why Prince kept his family at arms length.

That's great, now we can wait next year for a live in Syracuse release in blu ray 4k, with the blu ray audio.

I can't quite figure out why Tyka would sell her remaining 10% especially if they are so close to getting their payout?

That would make PW 300% and the remaining heirs 300% UNLESS John's portion is divided among his children?

I'd hate to think that PW is going to end up on top here, when the heirs have waited 6 years now.

It gives them 50% with.

So ALL of Mattie's children with John Nelson have sold their shares (the late Alfred Jackson, included).

The remaining heirs are all much older: Sharon, Norrine and (the late) John R. Nelson. One would think the older heirs would be more likely to sell their shares and the younger ones holding on to see their shares increase in value.

Sharon and Norrine are well into their 80s now. We don't even know if they've been married, have children ... or if John R. Nelson had heirs.

Interestingly, though: Prez Nelson (Tyka's son) is working with/for the estate and taking part in decision-making. He seems to have a level head...but what's in it for him? He won't get big bucks from his mother.

It gives Primary Wave 50%, with Sharon, Norrine and whoever John R Nelson's heirs are, holding the other 50%.

I wonder when we're going to see the final accounting?

The big issue after the tax resolution is having a form of management in place to ensure the Estate is ran properly.

It'll be Sharon/Norrine/John's heirs/Londell vs Primary Wave.

It's been more than 4 months since the judge asked for it and still nothing has come his way...

I wonder how long this could take 'cause it's the reason why nothing "substantial" is released.

I think all this mess might take a long time before resolution?

Oh boy! eek

With Lonnie and him taking a piece also, I would say that PW would have the upper hand. I don't know if that's a good thing or not.? Maybe the music will start coming out at a faster rate if PW was taking charge.

We can only hope for the best. Right now though, I think it's best that PW has what they have. I don't believe the elders would ever do the right thing by Prince. They have Lonnie who will no doubt push them toward what HE wants. Curious about John's heirs and their trust....if they are just there to collect the money or have an actual interest in how things go.

I hope that Primary Wave soon gets the bigger part of the Estate and follow the good job done by Comerica so far. I don't trust in the elders AT ALL. All they've done so far is stand in the way of almost everything.

We don't need some amateurish job to be done here. When it comes to Prince legacy we need some professionals in the house. There's a lot to do but it deserve to be done with love & respect.

The 1999 & SOTT SDE boxes are good examples of what one should expect from the Prince Estate.

It looks like they've put the warehouse at 8020 Park in Chan under the Paisley Park LLC ownership as well as the home on Newton.

There's acreage across from Paisley that still seems to be held by the estate as well as the Purple Rain house at 3420 Snelling Ave.

I can't tell if the 8020 Park warehouse will be up for sale or still used as storage. Certainly, they can't keep all his possessions (especially hardware items) at Paisley.

So far as I know, it's still run by Comerica and the court.

Correct. There's a hearing scheduled at the end of this month (July) -- it's right up top on the court's list of filings.
Right now, I understand that work is being done to train the "heirs" (ahem) and PW on the details of running such a large, complicated business.

Paisley Park is now its own LLC with the wnearby arehouse, always storage, put under the PP LLC umbrella due to so much stuff being catalogued.
That MAY mean that Paisley will stand alone from the music assets.

The warehouse I mentioned above, at 8020 Park Pl in Chanhassen, almost within sight of Paisley Park. rince bought it for storage and it's still being used as such. It's just south of Paisley itself, a handy location. I just hope it has lock-tight security.

This is what i heard from some1 serious ...but just being logical.....Mc Millan&the Heirs want to see anyway Troy Carter & Howe out of the game since months & PWave want their proposals & persons in charge to be in the new game = new Estate so ... suspecting what is gonna happenning soon.....this is sad & makes me anxious because more or less the good job has been made by this team under Comerica Control.....Mc Millan is not the man for this Job .....he has been fired by Prince back in old days .....Mc Millan has a bad reputation .....he does not give a shit about Prince's Legacy....just interrested making money.....my personnal preference goes for Primary Wave ...just my guess !
