Omarr sold 100% of his expected inheritance to Primary Wave on June 30, 2021.

With artists selling their publishing and catalogs for hundreds of millions, it's good business sense for the heirs.
I think Primary Wave would be better managers than the family.

THEN, there's "that woman" trying to claim all of it. Five pages of claims but she left three blank.
Poor soul.

Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

I think P's family were in over their head but I think I would have kept a certain % even if it was 1%.

So does this mean that PW can release music and do anything they want? Once of course the Estate is settled.

That could be some major $$ made, that they don't get any of if they've sold 100% of their shares.

Alfred is/was 100%

Omarr is 100%

Tyka is 90%

And Lawnie and Charles Spicer also got some shares from the elders, but we don't know how much. Perhaps they will sell too to get their hands on some cash before they die. I don't know what kind of family members any of them have to leave anything to.

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod

I've thought for a while that they are not equipped to deal with his estate/music themselves so I am not upset at this. All I really care about is that his legacy lives on and that might be best handled by pros. I am annoyed that Londell managed to get his hands on any piece of this though, but we did see him angling for it from the start.

Sounds about right, especially if they had CON-tracted loans they couldn't pay back? deal As it is quoted in the Industry Rule handbook (4080) part B. "Amid all the Chaos & Disorder use the Hoodwink & Bamboozle methodology on the ones who are easily mislead by greed and ignorance, they will give up everything without realizing they are getting tonk."

I guess Tyka retained 10% because she’s the only one with heirs of her own. That's bizarre when you think about it.

Tyka hasn't sold *all* of her share. It's like Mattie's children all made a sale. I don't think Sharon, Norrine or John (who really needs help with being capable) are still in 100%.

All major artists have sold their publishing, so that's not alarming. But selling P's personal effects and Paisley Park is a bridge too far to cross.

They sold to Lonnie's company, not sure of the percentages, except it's the majority of it up to 100%.

Sorry, I disagree...I think they have sold a portion to Lonnie and his partner.

That's not showing in the 7/20 Stipulaton, which gave Primary Wave (Omarr's, Alfred's and a percent of Tykas) the same status as the "Living Heirs" because Primary Wave is now owns the largest share of the expectancy.

Londell's company wasn't listed as a partner and neither he nor his partner are listed as ownership of Primary Wave.

If SNJ did sell, it must not have been a major portion.

The Stipulation did not mention the 3 elder Nelsons. It was merely a Stipulation acknowledging Primary Wave as the primary beneficiary.
