listened to it a few times now, and I really like the song. Really looking forward to this album

Always wanted a studio version of this after hearing it on a W2A NYC boot. Got a Parliament-vibe to it, reminds me of 'P-Funk (Wants To Get Funked Up)'. Pre-ordered the gold vinyl edition and the 7". Boxset looks good too, looking forward to getting this.

This is totally out of the blue for me, never thought this existed in completed form. The single is AWESOME and the set list for the show is impressive. A proper release indeed!

Album theme seems even more relevant today than it did back then (which should be troubling).

Like a robot I just went ahead and ordered it. I've never been able to get the 1999 SDE since it's been sold out and trolling all over the net trying to find it is low on my priority list too. But I didn't want to miss the chance on this one.

I don't have iTunes, I'm looking at the Apple music page of the album, and I can only see it's 54 mins in total (plus track timing for the title track)

not sure this is really prince's strong suit, but ill be interested to hear the rest.

but im only buying the CD, not the deluxe package.

W²A the song is available now on the different digital platforms, funk Jazz mid tempo spirit a bit Funkadelic.Prince in normal phrasing voice posed.we are in the spirit of Rainbow Children level prod,GoldNigga/Exodus without the rapped parts, small music piece of transition ...a little relax concept jam ....Prince in relax mode and which establishes a small political preaching on the situation of America under the Obama era !
Not a revolutionnary song....just a cool song with a good prod.

Well, that was ten years ago. The full scope of Obama's presidency and current "team" moves, have left many re-considering their positions. Too bad Prince can't speak for himself in 2021 - MSM, record company & estate will milk this album for its supposed context regardless.

Album cover looks fine to me. I'm just not that picky; it looks perfectly fine.

I've been pretty impressed with the estate. In the internet era, its impossible to please everyone. I think they've done a good job putting out respectable releases.

The title track sounds ok. But I'm hoping the other tracks are a bit more standout. Looking forward to hearing different versions of the few songs we've already heard.
