The melody, lyrics, etc do not really transfer this way.

If there ever comes a ATWIAD SDE I wouldn't want them to release Girl reversed and then labeled as Boy.
Unless there was such a specific version mixed with Susannah's vocal upfront and his turned down like on the release. They shouldn;t mess with tracks.

You do not understand the whole release is a Frankenstein thing?

Prince, after disbanding The Revolution, removed traces of W&L from the SOTT songs as much as he could.

He wanted it to appear as a Prince album.

And now we release SOTT SDE as Prince's stuff but with loads and loads of Revolution input in the extra songs.

I did not yet receive the physical release but I'll check how much attention is paid to this detail.

Mines delayed too. Sure, I have a leaked CD rip to tide me over, but I've resorted to watching a vinyl unboxing video which, if it were arriving tomorrow as planned, I would have left as a nice surprise. Oh well. It'll come eventually.
