So the best guesses re: the missing tracks from the leaked list were nearly on the money! This is going to be an epic set to be sure!
There are still some tracks I'd have loved to be included:
Crystal Ball (Purple Underground Version) Joy In Repetition (Full Length w intro) Crucial (Full Length w guitar) Play In The Sunshine (Crystal Ball Version w machine gun intro)
U Got The Look (Full Length w banjo)
And some other era tracks would have been nice to have the same 2020 remastering (for consistency):
Dream Factory (Dream Factory Version)
Movie Star (Dream Factory version)
Joy In Repetition (segued from The Ball)
Feel U Up
Good Love
Rock Hard In A Funky Place
No doubt most of these tracks will get eventual release and remastering - until then it will be hard to re-create the Dream Factory, Camille or Crystal Ball configurations in consistent sound quality. (But I'm sure many of us will do our best!) |

So excited to finally get studio quality Rebirth of The Flesh - maybe my favorite Prince outtake of all time... plus it sounds like this is an uncirculating version with a different outtro. So potentially a bit longer than the circulating version. Wonder if this means it won't have the "Come to the Crystal Ball" line (used to segue into the machine gun intro of Play In The Sunshine)...
