Which store? I really struggled to find it back in November/December last year and ended up finally getting a copy from Warner Australia directly about 3 weeks after the release date.

Good to know! I called them prior to the release and they said they were getting copies in but they were delayed, like seemingly all of Australia, for 3 weeks in receiving copies.

Do you remember Melodies & Memories on Gratiot? I happened to visit there on a whim just before Covid-19. The place has really gone downhill in the 20-some years since I’ve been there, but they DID have 1999 Super Deluxe in both CD and LP. I held the LP box in my hands, very impressive! That's a blast from the past! I haven't been there in a long time. Sad if they have gone downhill. Glad they still showed love to Prince with these sets, though!

Just broke down and got the LP set for a cool $210. Decadent or shrewed?

unfortunately in these days of record sales it makes more sense to produce lower numbers and drive up demand of future releases and guaruntee early sales rather than produce too many and have copies sitting around unsold. these days you got to jump on it or miss out.

I bought the Up All Nite boxset for less than $35 but i can imagine it will be very expensive in the future.

I Just bought it for 29 Euro...it went down from 37 Euro on german Amazon...that's 32,38 Dollar.
