Would U B Cool With A Prince-themed "Chocolate Box"?

I received an email recently from a company I have supported in the past. They are having a Father's Day promo featuring curated chocolates and cosmic crystals. More specifically, it's a Box O Chocolates with a Grateful Dead theme.

Would you be down for a Prince-themed box in the future, or is this all a bit too much? Should we alert the Estate?

If you're curious, their chocolates are damn good. They have more reasonable boxes if you're interested. No, I am neither an employee nor affiliate of the company, but I can testify that they take chocolate very seriously.

Vosges chocolates are generally pretty bad. They look great and the combinations sound like they should be incredible. I would order a Prince themed lavender hot chocolate but I don't get who still buys novelty gifts like that.

Are we talking about the same chocolate company? The dark chocolate truffles I had were generally good. Also, they are usually listed among the top 10 chocalatiers in the world. Tastes are subjective, of course, so we can agree to disagree. I would not spend $350 on a box of chocolates unless it comes with keys to the Vault. I wouldn't mind seeing their concept art for a box of Prince chocolates, if they ever decide to go that route.

Unofortunately. It's all packaging. I visited their first retail stores countless times and had a friend that worked there shortly after they opened, so I've sampled a lot of it. I mean even bad chocolate is chocolate, but I stopped taking free candy there. They were really known for their bacon chocolate bars.

This is starting to sound like an advertisement.

But no quality purveyor is going to put their best wares in a "commemorative box" that they know no one will ever really eat.

Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

American chocolate tastes like garbage to me. The europeans make much better chocolate, imho.

How much are we talking here? If it's a ridiculous price for a box of chocolates, Prince-themed or otherwise, forget it! lol
