Regarding Baby You're a Trip it woulds have been cool if they had released Prince's version and not this unfinished Jill Jones version.

for an upcoming release aprox 100 days into the future is just insane at this point.

I did not do the kerning right when I created that font from scans of the record, I was just learning what's part of making a font. the "25" part looks like it's from my font, as does the "Th" at the start, so I am pretty sure this is not official. Unless even the estate has turned to fan-made fonts now. (actually, that wouldn't surprise me, I think for the album they didn't use a font but wrote it all by hand, if memory serves, so there might not be anything else easily used)

Exactly. This set is happening this year. And it's big and expensive and worth every penny based on the leaks.

Then WB have Parade-another huge set, Batman- who knows what's there for that and a proper super deluxe of Purple Rain (2024 my guess).

I reckon WB has already made claim to the proper outtakes for Parade, Batman and Purple Rain. The Crystal Ball 1998 tracks not included.

Just for kicks, they should add a rehearsal for the tour. The version of Strange Relationship that I am hearing right now is insane.

He never did play again like that after the SOTT tour.

Rehersals aren't a bad idea - but i'd prefer the Madhouse opening act. If they are going to put the concert across two discs, this could probably be facilitated.

It was a real wasted oppotunity for them not to have included The Time and Vanity 6 on the 1999 DVD, even if they had to use performances from other cities.

We're also in the digital age. Protege stuff would make a nice addition to downloadable versions - not that you can get the 1999 Tour video seperately...

nah, just kidding. it's probably pretty good but it'll be jarring to hear it with strings after years of having the clip. same thing with In A Large Room... playing too fast on the bootleg copy. my brain may not be capable of handling the "proper versions"

My favourite album of all time! My only wish is that the DVD is of an actual SOTT concert. Not the concert movie. Not the First Avenue show. Not the Paisley Park new years eve show, but an actual multi-cam SOTT concert!. If one dosen't come with this release then I fear that we'll never get to see one.

I don't think he's a [Snip - luv4u], but I do believe he is right and that this is a fan image that doesn't add any info. The image is spread so widely already though (without attributing source) that it might be taken as official by some people.

Then again, that image with the incomplete tracklist made by violet reality pops up in so many places too.
