In the previous paragraph, there are a number of redacted words, presumably song titles. I've gone through a list of recordings by Prince in late 1985 and all of 1986 to try to match the character lengths. Here are my best guesses: Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

first off thank you for doing this because i started to try and figure out the spaces this morning but it gave me a headache pretty quickly so i gave up after two tracks, haha!
secondly... i believe that the one that fits the last one you mentioned is "I Need A Man given in due time to Bonnie Raitt.

so there might be all four tracks that were offered to Bonnie Riatt, if "I Need a Man" will be released as well. Are they've circulating?
Though, okey, there's other tracks I dont recall I havent heard: Blanche, Love and Sex 1986, And That Says What, Everybody Want..., It Be's Like That Sometimes.

- It must be one of the best tracks Prince has ever written. It bursts with joy and has a very atypical Prince rhythm and sound. The vocal performances towards the end are stunning, give me goosebumps every time. - And these the fast and very clever written chorus lyrics : "Did U ever feel that life was like lookin' 4 a penny (...mind that only the last two words change tone each time) And the wild Sheila influenced drumparts... (I suppose), with that unmistaken latin feel. - I often think of this track as a non-Prince track. He must've stolen it. Although it is a Prince & The Revolution track with Sheila E. plus a few members of her band at the time. As far as the info is known, they all played on it. It also sound very live recorded. There are not that many unPrincy songs like this one. -

Just a thought. I watched Under The Cherry Moon last night and it got me thinking. Remember the sequence where there is an instrumental rendition of It's A Wonderful Day, but the arrangement played around with. I was wondering if any of that material was included in the 12" mix?

This is my first post yay Been a fan since 90 but obsessed since AOA. The drag for me is the bottomless pit potential. I originally found SOTT difficult to listen to, I know that's blasphemy...but true, it was only after I actually listened that I realised that this is my fave album...closely followed by the original Come config. And on this album, I still see its gonna be a beautiful night as an outlier...its the last song that I warmed to. Still not convinced this is the right album for it but hey...its awesome. Cannot wait for this SDE. Will cheer up a year that needs some cheer. In between Neil young is giving us Homegrown.. Question for the group...are there albums of unknown prince songs in the vault? I follow all the BFTP and work it stuff but wondered if there are still surprises for long term collectors? Hope my first post is not too long, I love reading this forum. Even the disagreements are hilarious Cheers Paul

Everyone keeps referencing another "Originals" set as a possibility. Has there been any real talk about additional volumes or is it simply speculation? I don't remember hearing about anything outside of the first set, thus me asking about it here...

ThirdStrike said: Everyone keeps referencing another "Originals" set as a possibility. Has there been any real talk about additional volumes or is it simply speculation? I don't remember hearing about anything outside of the first set, thus me asking about it here... I'm sure Michael Howe mentioned a probable follow up in an interview. The first one was widely well received and performed reasonably well commercially so another volume would make sense. Therefore tracks like 101, Come Home etc could be left off with those releases in my mind. Maybe Jerk Out is on volume 2 hence it's no show on 1999 deluxe.
