I hope so (it's one of my favorite albums), but I kind of doubt it. The generally public doesn't care about it. And a lot of hardcore fans don't like it.

I suppose eventually all of them will be remastered, but this would be way down the estate's priority list.

At least the 12" of "Lovesexy" should be released.

Sorry but no- Originals bodies the 1999 Deluxe (even though 1999 Deluxe is still pretty damned solid).

I did the same thing for Escape here cause it has the same issue with this.

Don't lose heart Robert. I reckon there is a good chance you'll get to hear LoveSexy remastered sooner or later. Even if it doesn't get the full Super Deluxe treatment (which I'm guessing it will), I'm convinced all the WB albums will at least see a remaster eventually.

As far as super deluxe sets go, my guess is that WB will prioritise the Revolution era albums first (1999 through to Sign O' The Times). After that they'll focus on the albums closest to this era, so Dirty Mind, Controversy, Lovesexy, maybe Diamonds and Pearls.

A super deluxe LoveSexy has a lot of potential. The DVD won't be a problem sourcing since there was a professionally filmed broadcast of the show, and for the live CDs there is a ton of great aftershows they can take advantage of. I hope they consider an official release of the Small Club bootleg.

Hopefully a remastered with every separate tracks version on streaming. I don't want to listen the full album and it's good for playlists.

Highly unlikely unfortunately. He recorded his vocals in private. He used to send his sound engineers out of the studio while he was recording them.

Absolutely. Even if the album is not historically as revered as 1999, PR or SoTT, the reissue will sell well amongst us fans IF they include plenty of tasty vault tracks and bonuses.

Uhhhh, it is listed on PR Deluxe as 7" b side edit. Lol.

I was simply saying that the Erotic City 7" mix should've been listed as "Erotic City (Make Love Not War Make Erotic City Come Alive) (7" B-Side Edit)" cause it was mentioned as such on the original LGC 7", but then the 12" version counts as either a regular "Extended Version" or have the same subtitle as the A-side...

I actually heard infomation about Sony buying Prince's WB catalogue in 2021, excluding Batman (his only "proper" soundtrack) for obv. reasons. Will this come to a dead end or not? But then I'm scared if Warner doesn't take their compolations off streaming services of if they get moved on2 Sony...

Super Deluxe editions might contuine at this point, but we don't know for sure...
