Interesting read, but the songs u like/dislike are almost opposite of mine. ๐Ÿ˜‚

When The Lights Go Down from The Vault is one of my all time favorite Prince songs...for that alone The Vault is not a waste of time imo ๐Ÿ˜‰

Deinately a Top 20 Prince Gem. I also adore Itโ€™s About That Walk.

I agree. IMO there are 3 absolute gems from that album, as previously mentioned, When the lights go down, 5 Women and Extraordinary.

lol Personally I think that Joy In Repetition, We Can Funk and A Question of U are great tracks.

The fervor with which i sing "Soul Psychedelicide" wen it comes on....

Still would stand all time always moves me spiritually

"You know, this is funky but I wish he'd play like he used to, old scragglyhead son of a...*smack* OOH!"

"Who's the foo singing will it's would"

You must really hate The Time's Pandemonium if you think the only worse Prince-related album of the decade is Kamasutra.

.

"Hate" is a strong word. I don't even hate Kamasutra. But, yes, Pandemonium just leaves me cold.

Like your list. Although, I would put Come at no. 6 and Rave to the 9 spot. I also woud switch Graffiti Bridge (to #1) with Emancipation (to #3). Emancipation suffers from production choices. If he only approached it like Sign O the times production wise.
