People making these illicit drugs aren't doing so in state of the art pharmaceutical labratories, but in basements or backrooms. They aren't being careful with how they are mixing it. If you get one person who adds the fentanyl to the drugs, and they don't mix it carefully, when they press the pills, you may have one pill that won't have any fentanyl in it and then the 15th pill in the batch may have 10 to 20 times the lethal dose in it. They aren't measuring the fentanyl out for each pill. So it is not unlikely that Prince took one pill that had way too much fentanyl in it. Whereas if he had taken pills earlier in the week from that same batch and it didn't have hardly any in it. He could have thought he was okay taking those pills because it didn't have an effect earlier in the week, only to get that one bad pill out of bunch.

I've seen photos. My comment isn't about the sound board or toys, or instruments laying around. He didn't need to have a state of the art room, as long as it worked for him, and sound right, that's ultimately what mattered. That and it was convenient. What's the source of that or the part where he was unhappy to have been revived? I don't picture Sheila E. covering up a suicide note if it was a huge one. The mourning would have taken on a different tone. He didn't always seem happy the last few years, but he surrounded himself with younger people he was mentoring, even if it was a rotating door aside from his band, and collaborators, and that doesn't jive with the suicide. The Piano and a mic shows semed pained, but connected with the audiences, and like he was still trying to do that. He could have shut down and been a recluse if he was on his way out. The timing doesn't seem planned. Chanhassen and Oakland seem right for last shows, but Atlanta? Canada? I get the laying down in the elevator part, but can you elaborate where your theory comes from? Is that the gossip with the associates that knew Prince?

Prince took a lot of pills on the plane after his mountain top show in Atlanta. Judith Hill notice him pass out and how he passed out. She recognized that it was a life threating situation. She woke up Kirk and altered the flight crew and the plane got down in time to adminster two Narcan shots to save Prince's life.

When Prince was fully awake he was none to happy about being alive. So he went home to work on plan B. April 21. He allowed everyone to think it was a addiction issue to mask his real intent. He seeminlyg cooperated including allowing the doctor to collect blood and urine samples the evening before death because he knew it no longer mattered.

The evening of April 20 he waited until sometime after midnight. Probably setting up the suicide note. Playing a music on the piano. Then he went to his bedroom, took off his shoes. Took handfuls of pills from the disguised Fentanyl in the asprin bottles left on the bedside stand. One pill went flying and landed in the bedsheets. After downing the pills quickly he walked around the coroner to the elevator and laid down.

He was found the next morming. Kirk provided a statement that morning and cooperated with police and even contacted his news contacts given the story to the press.

After the memorial on Saturday, I believe Kirk, Phaedra and Shelia E figured out what happened. That is why I believe documents were shredded and computer files deleted. They were erasing information that Prince left behind about why he did it. What they didn't realize was Prince left behind more information that even they realized. It was huge. So, they did not destroy everything.

This is why they did not talk to police after the first day.

The police turned over the property to Prince's attorney after the first day and did not collect the computer as evidence so it is unlikely that what they did was legally wrong.

They just don't want the public to know it was a suicide nor the reason for the suicide. That is why they are so tight lipped.

There are probably many Prince associates that know it was a suicide or at least suspect it but they were not currently in Prince's life so they were not interviewed by police nor did they offer to provide information probably for the same reasons as those in Prince's life.
