Why do you think the old timers are blaming those around him at the time of his death? Because they knew or should have known the reason why and at the very least warned those around him who had no clue. They don’t want to take the public hits that Judith Hill is taking. Therefore, they are craftily shifting blame. If you really study Prince’s artist output this was almost inevitable. Who do you really blame? It was Prince’s choice, no one else. In my opinion, if it wasn’t pills, it would have been a more gruesome method.

I doubt Prince knew the pills he was taking were laced with fatal doses of fentanyl. He would've specifically had to request that sort of thing which would leave him dying in a most embarrassing fashion.

Prince knew exactly what he was taking. See Judith Hill’s statement (1) he had Narcan researched after the airplane incident, because he wanted to know what he had been given and how it affected his body. Do you think he didn’t do this with the Fentanyl pills? (2) Again, in Judith Hill’s statement, he tells her about pain in his hands and needing pain medication to perform. Fentanyl would be just perfect for that as it is short-term acting narcotic, meaning it wears of in a couple of hours. This would be perfect for getting him through a show or rehearsal (3) read the police report, there are numerous documentations of half narcotic pills. Drug addicts do not cut narcotic pills in half. My mother took narcotics for years for legitimate pain. Taking narcotic pills to manage pain does not mean one is an addict. My mother was not an addict. She often took half pills to get pain relief while trying to stave off the side effect – constipation.

Speaking of not listening go to the police file. Check out the pictures of Prince’s office the yellow room. He left some CD’s on the desk under the stack of paper money. One of the CD’s is The Best of Missing Persons. The first song on that album is called Words. Look up the lyrics to this song. The words say basically what is the use of talking when no one listens anymore. Prince was sending a message with this CD. It’s part of the suicide note. How his death was handled by police, family, associates and fans, proves Prince’s point. No one was listening.

No one listened really to what Judith Hill was saying. If you read it and understand what she communicated to police, suicide can be your only conclusion. She said 50-50 when the police asked her about suicide because (1) she was in love with him and very likely does not want it to be true and (2) she didn’t understand the reason why and didn’t want to conclude suicide in the absence of a credible reason. However, it was not her call to make. It was the Medical Examiner’s call. I don’t think the police discussed Judith’s statement with the medical examiner. The police were so focus on how Prince obtained the Fentanyl they didn’t hear what Judith was truly saying.

Everybody should be treating Judith Hill as the hero. Many are slandering her. She should be treated like the NYPD after 9/11. She went into the burning building, that was Prince, and that was about to collapse down around her. She saved him from his first attempt. She gave him love in his final days. If you care about Prince, you should show her some love.

In fact, that is what Prince wanted you to do. See Judith Hill’s video for her song Back In Time. It’s Prince’s last video and part of the suicide note. This is Prince’s goodbye letter to Judith. See Judith’s caption for the video. It was due to be released in April 2016. She holds it for more than two years because of his death. Some interesting points but I think Vanity's death was only a part of his "discomfort". I would not give her a starring role.

It seemed to me he was losing his health, his drug use was going to be made public with resultant shaming, his physical condition would have prompted scrutiny etc.

I really doubt Prince was upset at Hannah having a kid considering they were still working on the second 3rdEyeGirl album, the two of them were living in a house he owned and how much he enjoyed seeing other people's families.

It's just that he often needed help remembering lyrics, even as a young man.

In 1988 or so he played with the Bangles and forgot many of the lyrics to Manic Monday (It is funny)

Also, there is a 2002 Berlin show where he is tranferring a big sheet with lyrics from one keyboard to another. He wrote lyrics quickly in many instances and did not remember all of them.

I don't think he placed as much value on remembering lyrics as he did with his music.

No one, and I will say it a second time, no one, is stomping on P's ashes or trashing our beloved.

When I think of Prince and the possibility of suicide, I always go to the lyric "what's the hurry/to die without tryin'/if you could sell your worries/would anyone buy 'em?" and hope he still believed in that.

God Bless Prince. Overdosed on pain killers for his hip they say yet was seen riding his bike the day before he died....... it does not add up. Prince was very health conscious against drugs and alcohol. I highly doubt he committed suicide given his spiritual beliefs.

Prince fought Warner Bros for 18 years for the rights to his own music, won it back and now he is dead. Those responsible didn’t do it for the money though – they don’t need the money.

Yes it does and there are clearly a great number of people out here who don't believe what they've been fed so far, even if you are trying to insist they must. No one is trashing him nor anyone else here, but your continuing obsession with a thread you despise and a subject you don't want to see is truly amazing. What exactly is your agenda here? Out of all the threads on all the different sub-forums on the org, you insist on harassing people on the one thread where they want to discuss the circumstances of his death. Why? How is it not harrassment of others for you and anyone like you who does not like these threads to continually come in here and keep bullying people who are trying to talk amongst themselves? Why can't you stay away from something you claim to dislike? Because we are at the point now, after 28+ postings from you personally in a thread you don't like, where we have to look at what your personal motivations are for trying to stop others from talking. Why do you insist on disrupting conversation in this thread? Why can't you find anything else at all on the entire site to amuse yourself with? Are you obsessed? The real question is - why do you care if I post here, or what I say? Especially enough to count my posts. What does it matter how often anyone posts? (it doesn't).

Some here want people off the thread, I've bullied no one. This is an open discussion on a public forum. It runs the gamut. A poster above me thinks Prince was murdered...again.
