peoplle said a lot of things about those years, most of it's unproven and summed up by, "he wrote slave on his face and fought with WB". Either way, people do get possessive of their heroes, oddly enough, i don't remember anyone ever getting mad when it was revealed that MJ wore a wig and had short hair which had receded about an inch or when it was said Elvis was completey grey. Elvis' hair was thinning at the crown but he was the only one worried about that at the time as it probably wasn't noticeable yet. We had fun over the years wondering if Prince was bald, does it even matter? hell no, not to me, I'm a male, I coud care less but it's always humorous when a man has a toup or hair plugs or what have you. I'm sure springsteen has hair plugs, big deal, you got that kind of dough you can do those kinds of things.

There's no explaining some people's idea of what is "humorous"...or why they don't seem to understand that it's not nice to "have fun" at the expense of other people, even celebrities.
