To me it sounds like the voice is saying "I wish I'd never played" Sounds like there's a female voice talking at the end as well.

Love the track. I sped up the slow voice one time. Still couldn't work out the first part but the last bit says, "edit and play".

i'm not on twitter, but i guess someone could try asking josh what the loop says?

also, i know a lot of people like to shit on this album and on josh's production in general,
but i'm a fan of it.

the songs on HNR1 aren't the strongest, no, but given how AOA turned out is indication
that with more solid songs, the combo of josh & prince sounds fresh and vibrant.

the back 2 back combo of "XsFACE" and "HARDROCKLOVER" is just delicious and it's one
of those periods or recording that i hope more material will surface from.

This song has a classic Prince attitude and energy in my opinion. I really like it. like the use of "chariots" in the lyrics.

X's Face is AWESOME... and combined with HARDROCKLOVER and JUNE... there was something REALLY special about some of this stuff.....

It just didnt sound as stale and Prince by the numbers stuff that we were getting a lot of ....

X's Face / HardRockLover / June could have been the crux of a ridiculously good album.

I love this song and I love his last three albums. They are on rotation in my car.

P gave Josh writer/producer credit on The X's Face. I often wonder if he did so to make sure

Josh would get royalties after he was gone.

I get that mixed up, I thought the "O" is open lips and the "X" is arms wrapped around anothers. I don't get it, but lesson learned.

Took a while to warm up to it but love it now. Wonder who he is talking about?
