you're right but to me there were only a couple bad looks, most of the time he looked great so the bad looks for me were just an anomaly. the reason i got booted off of here a few years ago was when i, like you, just thought people were being way too petty and told them so. generally, he looked great, the times he didn't stuck out like a sore thumb.

imho: what a very sad thread this is.. least this least that..??

come on motherf*ckers, show some love and positivity in stead..?

Opinions are ok, but shame.. this thread is sad... sad

Ok imo: I am not a fan discussing the least thing I like, some of u must be very bored since this is an issue to some of u..

Ok I am putting MY focus on the upcoming "Ultimate Rave 3 disk CD/DVD". heart

( go on and now hate me for that lol.... )

Ok, our "fan lifes" should be too short for threads like this nutty negativity... when I think of Prince I think of "big" musicianship all life long, he is our hero, with greatness nevermind the least this & that...

Ok, these "least fave discussions" are always popular, that's kind of weird imho....

FACT. Prince considered himself to be female as well as male. Why is that so hard to understand?

Different than sexual preference. Clothes were/are clothes.

Spandex Smurf™ is definitely his worst outfit ever.
Even the ridiculous Lovesexy outfit with eye open
on the chest comes second. He looks like some dildo
with a hairy head, like a muppet. A sexy sex toy, don't misunderstand me.
I mean, might as well just oil SKipper and rub ourselves againt him, while we're at it.
I like skin too much. I don't understand latex, I guess.

PS: but again: I remember a Rave era interview, and the photos were much more flattering to the glittering qualities of the outfit. Oh, what am I blabbering about: the Man got glitters up to his neck. Worst era eva.

a lot of people, my best friend included thought the afro was a wig.

But why would he carry hairdye in his bag if he was wearing a wig?

You can see his hairline up close in the post mortem photos. You don't wear a cap over a wig.

Exactly.
That "thin on top" photo looked more like he needed a new dye job.

This is my least favorite kind of thread. Why does it always go to the mean mundane personal stuff? There is nothing aesthetic about a deceased person's grooming in police photos.

i'm not talking about when he died, i'm talking about when he was alive, he had to be bald as an eagle, it's one of those things we loved debating about. his daddy bald, his brother bald, his cat was bald and here he is with an afro.

If he had a hairpiece/wig it would have been mentioned in the report, like MJ's was.

This is a bad afro. I mean these are not healthy hair.

It's SKipper's hair alright.

no, the report wasn't anywhere near complete, not what we got. I think whitney had hair issues too, her report told everything, false teeth, I can't remember if she had a boob job or not, michael had a receding hairline but wasn't bald, those kinds of details we won't get about prince until we're in our 80's, see you then kiddoes and i'll remind you of this shit. Eventually what we'll probably see is a lot of connective tissue damage from playing music and maybe organ damage from the pills and joint damage, I doubt it's all that mysterious anymore, not like it was 3 years ago. Whether he was bald or not? who cares really, it's just something we used to joke about, in a loving way i might ad. I've read that Elvis was thinning at the time of his death and was completely grey, our heroes are just like us, human.

Baldness can come from either side.

https://www.webmd.com/ski...ess-on-mom

...they've found a gene variation that may explain some cases of male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia), the most common form of hair loss, which is related to the male sex hormones.

The suspect gene variation sits on the X chromosome, which is handed down to men by their mother. So a man may get an idea of his scalp's future from men on his mother's side of the family.

Of course there are exceptions, as always. My Mom had 3 out of 4 bald brothers and my brother still has a lot of hair at age 75.

peoplle said a lot of things about those years, most of it's unproven and summed up by, "he wrote slave on his face and fought with WB". The rumour about him od'ing on the aspirine was out by the end of the 90's but who's to know what the whole event was like? Either way, people do get possessive of their heroes, oddly enough, i don't remember anyone ever getting mad when it was revealed that MJ wore a wig and had short hair which had receded about an inch or when it was said Elvis was completey grey. Elvis' hair was thinning at the crown but he was the only one worried about that at the time as it probably wasn't noticeable yet. We had fun over the years wondering if Prince was bald, does it even matter? hell no, not to me, I'm a male, I coud care less but it's always humorous when a man has a toup or hair plugs or what have you. I'm sure springsteen has hair plugs, big deal, you got that kind of dough you can do those kinds of things.

There's no explaining some people's idea of what is "humorous"...or why they don't seem to understand that it's not nice to "have fun" at the expense of other people, even celebrities.
