BAM ! It makes no sense that SO MANY Photos and FILES had to be released to the Public
at the end of the day, 'however they got out there"
Ultimately its a good thing... I got closure from those Photos, Like ChocolateBox.. I looked at them many times Ive sat with those photos for hours
They helped me say goodbye....
I guess that's why they have wakes...for some it's cathartic.

PeteSilas said:[quote] for hours huh? i don't want to judge..., i looked and i felt a little sick and of course sad. when you see a pic of anything dead, at least for me, you can't really see the essence of a person anymore, all the spirit and life is gone and it looks it. it's why people say "he (she) didn't look himself did he" at a funeral. then, god forbid, you get a fucked up embalmer and you get a rick james like look for your final appearance. I mean, it is a part of life, one we all have to face, so, i don't have a huge problem with it, but i don't see the point. as far as the investigation, maybe they gave that to us because they don't give autopsies in that state. the investigation wasn't really that thourough, there were a couple major things they fucked up on that could have cracked the case wide open, they fucked up.

No problem, there may be spelling errors or minor errors, it took a while to get to this point. Once finished, I will let everyone know. If an error is found, let me know please.
Perhaps when this thread is closed, the mods can create a sticky for google docs for the vault, the investigation and the estate just as quick updates for the org?

Yes, the sticky is a good idea.

I was informed by a mod that there would be no sticky's on the death investigation.

Thank you for clarifying, Sonshine! I knew there were a few here that live in the vicinity and could correct me on that. Rogifan being a poster from the area too. paulludvig just stated that no one from Chanhassen claimed to have known of Prince's addicition. Can you clarify that as well? Thanks. I would say no, not the general public. My sis-in-law lives near PP. She snd her friends, aquaintances, neighbors, co-workers, etc were stunned and saddened by the news. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

I understand pete. My thoughts were more towards the folks who take offense at all the pics and information that was released, yet they have gone thru all of it with a fine tooth comb. To me it all seems like morbid curiosity. My wish has always been the his fans would let the man RIP. He deserved that; we could have (should have) given him that. I bristle at the LE criticism as well. No one here is in any position to judge their work. They gave his case the proper time and attention. I think those still obsessivly going on about it need to step back, take a breather, let it go. It can't be healthy to be this wrapped up in something or someone you have zero personal relationship with. Trust me I was as sad, lost, hurt, confused, heartbroken, etc as anyone. Prince and his music have been in the background of my entire adult life. He is what finally lifted me from the despair of a severe case of Empty Nest Syndrome I was experiencing. When it dawned on me I now had the time to revisit my Prince fandom pre-marriage snd raising a family I could hardly believe it. Finally I was going to be the one at those PP After Dark Parties! I would have my finger on the pulse of all things Prince rather than learning about new music releases etc well after the fact Lol Sorry, I digress. I never thought I would get to the point I could chuckle about anything Prince-related, and I know I wouldn't have come this far if I was still so consumed with that day. No offense to anyone. You do you. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

You know, I don't see a single one of us who are interested in this thread complaining that others are not interested in it. Why all the complaints about those who are interested in it?

sure but the nature of celebrity skews those things, it's not like seeing uncle max off to the afterlife. People want to see to gawk.

ya, that's what i thought, a horrible job at embalming. recently, i read a bruce lee book where supposedly people complained how he looked at his funeral, puffy and unlike himself, the answer was, there weren't many embalmers in hong kong because it wasn't done much. I actually thought to myself "it wasn't as bad as rick james".

human nature, i've said it many times, people want to know. it's probably been the same for 50,000 or more years, a person is there one day, gone the next the question naturally is going to be "why". nothing wrong with that. also, when someone says "it doesn't matter how he died" which Bruce Lee's wife said about him, that only looks like diversion. like a coverrup of some kind and that's no good. the truth shouldn't be feared.

Sorry but I have a couple of questions.I looked for the audio recording of the 911 call in the files, I only found the one written but not the audio, can you tell me where I find it in the files of the investigation? I live in Italy and here they do not come to the news and only through the internet can I find them and it is difficult to understand which ones are true and which are not. Do you know something about it?

Yes, Pete, unfortunately there is always that. I just don't get that feeling about the people here on this thread. While I can't make myself look at the pics, it seems to have helped others here. But you're right, billion dollar industries have been launched to appease gawkers (a sad commentary on our society).

Quick question on your report. On item line 23, the plastic ziplock baggie that was found in Andrews backpack had 2 or more individuals DNA, including 1 major DNA profile, which earlier was id'd as Prince being the major DNA profile. How could that be, if Andrew never met Prince?
