...and here's my theory..Prince knew there was fentanyl in them, hence the 1/4 pills found. The 1/4 pills in my eyes was his way of "being careful"

(Then he threw caution to the wind when his system had been wiped clean by the 2 Narcan shots...after holding off for almost a week?)

[Edited 4/20/18 13:14pm]

Aw now I dunno about that. I take norco for chronic back pain from time to time. 30 pills last me a year because I do just that. Quarter and halve them all the time. It's my way of being careful and I ain't on no fentanyl.

Bingo....we have a winner

I'm reading more disturbing and upsetting news regarding Prince's laptop.

.

Investigator regrets not taking Prince's laptop, immediately. Shouldn't the police have taken that?

.

http://kstp.com/news/prin...k/4873443/

.

Prince's attorney was also concerned about providing the star's email or computer because it contained "a lot of personal information," and it had a new book Prince was writing and "information not related to Prince's death," records show.

.

Investigators said the lawyer asked to be present when investigators examined the computer. Instead, the sheriff's department ended up serving the search warrant five days later, after having to wait for a locksmith to get it out of a new room where it was later stored inside Paisley Park.

It doesnt matter that the laptop wasnt taken immediately.

They had the Feds inspect his computer.

I think that's overstated as an obstacle to his death investigation. I think the biggest issue with not taking that laptop right away was that they then had to fly in forensic specialist to examine the hard drive, which per the warrants they did (along with accessing his email records from google). Thought they probably would have had a forensic examination even if they took the computer right way,.

-

I'm pretty confident that no one at paisley part in the couple days following his death had the computer expertise to delete things in a way that a forensic specialist couldn't retrieve. I don't think Kirk, Tyka, etc were secret computer geniuses.

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, but, I just don't have time right now to read through 180 posts....

Is the site to download the electronic records down or just overloaded? When I left the house this morning I started a download on them, only one of the zips finished downloading, the rest timed out. And now I can't even get the link to the download page to open.

You weren't the only one with that theory. But leaving behind almost 100 others doesn't sound like "leave no trace" to me, so can't roll with that. Granted tons of gaps and no way to fill them.

Whatever it is; it's odd, to say the least. I hate to say this, but, could it be vomit? I mean, it looks like something the Cat coughed-up. My first reaction was cocaine, but police never said cocaine was found. So, I guess those rumors are squashed. eek

A few general thoughts I have, reading all this:

- Fame is actually a dangerous way to live. It obstructs your ability to have normal relationships based on mutual need and support.

- Every relationship Prince had was mitigated by his fame. The people in his inner circle were all there because of his fame (either directly -- as an employees/mentee -- or more indirectly). There was no one who he seemed to interact with regularly who he had a "normal," peer-based relationship with. I don't think it was possible for him to have relationships like that; who could he meet who would be his "peer"?

- His need for privacy was also an obsession with appearances/persona, and that seems like it would be an exhausting, harmful way to live. How things might look to the public seemed to factor into every decision he made. The amount of effort it would take to conceal his truths from those around him must have been pretty extreme and ultimately debilitating, just as a human being.

-

All in all, the picture here just made me sad. He seemed to be really alone in his struggles, both by his choice but also by the corner that his fame backed him into (or that he felt it did).

He should have had someone with him. Given the fragile depressive state he was expressing to several. Emotional abandonment is a factor. What hurts so much for anyone who had an emotional connection as a music listener is that pattern was often found as a life obstacle, mother less child why’d you put me on the street I’m only 12...I think he often pushed others he loved away before he got get hurt anymore. If Kirk comes forward and says I offered to stay with him but he declined ...I would feel better. Mayte tried to get in for genuine concern...kept at bay.
If I was Judith I would have stayed. Did he tell people to leave him alone? He was vulnerable to be left alone.

Electronic_Records_1.zip contains Squad_Video. As far as I can tell, this is the dashcam footage of police that responded to the 911 call on 4/21/2016. Nothing of value.

Electronic_Records_3.zip contains graphic video footage of the death scene and no new information of value. AVOID!

.

I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see what the rest of the zip files contain.

This whole protecting Prince's privacy and personal information at all costs bullshit, pisses me off, the more and more I see it being used as some fucked up justification, for the actions and/or in-actions of ineptitude by those that SHOULD have done better by Prince! Because damn it...beyond any doubt...as of yesterday they FAILED Prince!!! And failed him fucking miserably!!! So to me from this day forward, the "secrecy" is no longer about protecting Prince's privacy. It's self preservation. disbelief

Here's what bothers ME:

Prince died of an overdose of the drug Fentanyl. Of which, it is very highly fucking likely that he never even knew he'd taken.

No, KJ and Tyka are no computer geniuses.
That being said, I’m curious to know what KJ & Phedera (?) were doing secretly shredding papers? (Or was it JW?).. according to Omarr, there was talk about what to tell the authorities, then KJ motioned to go behind closed doors to talk and shredding of papers ensued. I don’t have the download and am trying to piecemeal things that ISLIJAG posted.... The one positive thing is after looking at the vault & various other area pictures..Our beloved seemed to have saved alot..And the vault looked pretty organized..That made me feel a tad better as yesterdays news and various reports on interviews etc..Made me feel he didn't have people loved him around him.If Kirk was indeed his best friend..and we know he knew alot..He should of never left him alone even if he got mad, yelled, whatever

In one of the interviews (I can't remember which one) it was alluded to that Tyka wasn't around much. I honestly don't think, based on what we know, that they were exactly buddy-buddy. Yes, she worked for him a little (in some pretty nominal way) and he paid for her house, but there's not a sense that she as a regular presence in his personal life. Her name didn't really come up in the interviews (although she did tell Judith at the memorial that thing about "knowing for 2 years" that he was going to die. There's no followup on that in the Judith interview; I assume the police interviewed Tyka about that? I haven't come across a transcript of a Tyka interview but maybe it's in there!)

There is so much about Prince’s death and this investigation that troubles me and millions of #Prince fans around the world. It’s even worst than Comerica Bank’s work. He died, no collecting his computer, securing building, files, records, etc?

Anyone that says they are downloading the zip files just to see footage of Paisley Park and the Vault is disingenious. I don't care if you want to look, but don't pretend that you spent all those hours downloading and "accidentally" saw Prince, and then come back here to "warn" us. Check yourselves, please.

I'm trying to download the files. I will NOT watch any footage that includes Prince's body. I am interested in vault footage and the statements of those interviewed. I for one appreciate the warnings people are giving so that when I get my downloads I don't accidently see anything morbid. They're doing me a favor. Just sayin'... peace

I keep wondering why Tyka wasn't with Prince when he went to see Dr. Shulenberg? Furthermore, I wonder if Tyka really knew what was going on with her brother at all. eek

I have the same impression regarding Tyka and their actual relationship.

And I have no idea what all that "I've known for two years" bs was about other than to be provocative. Shit...if you're going to say something like that, follow through with full disclosure.

Yea, I think it's WAY overdue for Tyka and the Family to address the story about them knowing Prince was dying. How long are they going to continue this charade? Stop the games already! rolleyes

Ok, does anyone else feel weird about the Prince & Judith "romantic" relationship? I know it had been reported prior to her confirming it in her statement with detectives, yet I never believed they were more than friends and musical colleagues. Idk, he just never seemed infatuated or gaga towards her like others before her. Especially after seeing her in person I just can't picture the two of them like that... Aaaaanyway, back on topic: I watched the live news conference late yesterday A.M. and have avoided all the news since. After reading through the previous thread I'm glad I did! I do not want to remember him that way. I've learned enough. Nothing I've learned since that day has diminished him in my heart or mind. I wish we could put this all to rest. He would be so hurt by this discussion and disclosure of information. I just want him to rest in peace if he can't be here.

Judith says she was his girlfriend since late 2014 in her interview with the detective...Kirk ,on the other hand , answers "no" to the question "was Judith his girlfriend .He says she was a singer Prince was promoting

Exactly!! Like the saying goes......be careful of what you say, because it may come back to haunt you.

yeah the nature of their relationship is a little hazy (but honestly, this was prince. When it came to the exact status of the women around him, there was often a sort of haziness). She also said that she normally stayed at the chanhassen inn (or whatever it's called) when she was in town. Now, even in romantic relationships some people may like their space, but that seemed a little unusual.

Also the police spent a lot of time asking her "which side of the bed" he slept on. I have no idea why that was such an important topic, but it was something they focused on for a while. She seemed to have a hard time answering that (she said she had trouble with the idea of left/right). Perhaps it was related to the opioid pill they found in the bed? Maybe trying to guess if it was on Prince's side or Judith's side, if she had a side? I have no idea if that was their reason, that's just a guess.

I'm reading more disturbing and upsetting news regarding Prince's laptop.

.

Investigator regrets not taking Prince's laptop, immediately. Shouldn't the police have taken that?

.

It's self preservation. disbelief

I believe the answer is in plain sight. Shredding paper? Prescription in a different name (and couldn't get what P wanted so got some fake crap). Pissed that P hid it from them, but that person was the closest person to P? Come on now, it will come to light just when that person thinks nobody' watching or listening. You can dance around it, but the music will stop eventually.
