I was at pretty much every Paisley Park event for the past few years and have seen Prince using what looked like an iphone on at least 2 occasions. It was obviously attached to the Instagram account because I saw it being use to shoot videos for that, which you can see online. I suppose it could have been Meron's but it was esquistly decorated on the back looked like something that would have been his. If it was his what happened to it? It takes a lot of communication to get drugs on the sly.
I thought a lot about who he might be in a real relationship with at the time and probably over a long time, to me you just have to look at who is there all the time and stayed for such a long time, others came and went but one person was always there. I think you can figuire that out but its just speculation and my observations of being there.
It was funny how the daily mail thought the spoon on the cherry (famous minneapolis sculpture) which Prince had a minature version of was a bent drug spoon.
Kirk is one of the kindest people I have ever met, I don't say that lightly. I know Prince was impossible to deal with but Kirk did his best and is not a bad guy. Prince probably wouldn't have gotten better because he wasn't prepared to step back and let someone else take control which is what it takes to get sober.
On Dr. Drew's rehab podcast they have called out Dr. Kornfeld several times saying he is the worst for treating addicts including Steven Adler who warned against using him.

Prince was given Pecocet, NOT Vicodin via KJ and Dr.S. Percocet is not a physical "replica" of Vicodin, so MY question to this Mentz guy is Where the hell does he get off thinking Prince "didn't know".... Prince MAY not have known that Fentanyl was laced in the drug, but I'm quite sure that he was aware that the fake pill was not the prescribed percocet. JMO
He never said Prince wasn't aware he was taking non-prescribed pills, only they he and others were u aware they had Fentanyl in them.

My impression of what he said was that Prince knowingly had been taking illegally obtained pain pills (possibly along with /besides prescribed Percocet) thinking they were Vicodin, but He did not think Prince knew they were -or could potentially be - laced with fentanyl

Dr s acknowledged prescribing that for princes nausea in early April (and it’s not just used for chemo/hiv nausea). But dr s doesn’t mention a thing about chemo or hiv treatment to the police — and nothing in the documents alludes to prince getting my any treatment of that nature (no medication found, medical records, or anyone mentioning something like that, including dr s). I just think, having read the documents, that the cancer theory is not really viable.

- The "serious illness" theory: There's nothing in anything I've read that alludes to Prince having a serious illness like cancer. No one mentions him complaining of anything other than tingling/pain in his hands and leg (he saw a chiropractor in his final weeks) and vomiting. In the interviews the people say he seemed generally healthy, but thinner lately and having the "flu." He had no regular doctor (per Kirk) and Dr S said he had seen Prince only twice (the 2 April appointments).

there was a filled prescription bottle of Ondansetron, filled at Walgreens, that P was taking, that was prescribed to Kirk Johnson...Onadansetron is used to relieve the extreme nausea caused by chemotharapy and HIV/AIDS medicines... [Edited 4/20/18 13:20pm]

Well, the reason I mentioned "leave no trace" was because this was found in the vault, and there was no Rx to trace-besides the fact that he was the only one that had the combo. As long as he was alive...there was no trace. All supposition...it was just my knee jerk reaction. I have no idea what the stuff is

...and here's my theory..Prince knew there was fentanyl in them, hence the 1/4 pills found. The 1/4 pills in my eyes was his way of "being careful"
(Then he threw caution to the wind when his system had been wiped clean by the 2 Narcan shots...after holding off for almost a week?) [Edited 4/20/18 13:14pm]

I missed that part. I remember reading that he was seen by a chiropractor but did they specify it was on the 20th? Also, Meron said she left at around 10.30-11pm on the 20th, but did she not see Prince between the time Kirk dropped him off, 8.15-ish and when she left? weird that they'd be alone at PP and not see eachother...

camilleisfunky said: So Kirk told Shulenberg that other people in Prince's inner circle knew that the opiates issue was going on for a number of years...page 125 of the statement transcript which is Shulenberg's interview with the police... Kirk on the other hand says that he only learned of the opiates problem the around the Moline incident...weird...I thought Kirk was part of the 'inner circle'... Also interesting on page 51 of JH's interview when asked by detectives if anyone had contacted her to advise of what she could/could not say, JH responded that Sheila E. suggested JH *could not say everything* and that she (Sheila) would be happy to help JH secure legal representation, if needed. It appears Sheila knew more than she admitted to. It is beginning to sound like Prince's struggle was an open secret. Someone in this thread noticed the replica. At first sight I only saw smashed white powder and a spoon; and I thought there we go again, wtf was going on in his mind, etc. But when I found this statue at google. . . he loved his city!!!
At the Walker Art Centre you can find the spoon and cherry. I think I'm going to visit Minneapolis once, not for a celebration, but to emerge in the Minneapolis vibe. www.atlasobscura.com/plac...and-cherry [Edited 4/20/18 13:33pm] [Edited 4/20/18 13:36pm]

Great song. Takes me somewhere everytime I hear it. Played the whole Parade album yesterday right before the shit hit the fan - so beautiful. Drove solo 1100 miles recently and listened to Prince the whole way. It wasn't lonely at all. Something about that particular long player that is beauty. Just the way that album reveals itself to you.

That is correct. The law enforcement authorities, with all of the evidence at their disposal, concluded that there was not enough evidence to prosecute anyone. The amateur detectives on the org though, without all of the evidence, some of them think otherwise. I could be wrong, but the way this was stated, seems to me that the point that was tried to get across, was that they didn’t have enough evidence to prosecute anyone, but they DO have opinions. [Edited 4/20/18 13:29pm] My impression as well but one can't be charged/prosecuted based on those opinions only

I agree, it's plausible. At the very least, he knew the Percocets did not come close to replicating the results the counterfeit Vicoden did. That is why there were still legit pills available for consumption. "Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence......." ~ DESIDERATA ~ Max Ehrmann

I take norco for chronic back pain from time to time. 30 pills last me a year because I do just that. Quarter and halve them all the time. It's my way of being careful and I ain't on no fentanyl.

I'm reading more disturbing and upsetting news regarding Prince's laptop. . Investigator regrets not taking Prince's laptop, immediately. Shouldn't the police have taken that? . http://kstp.com/news/prin...k/4873443/ . Prince's attorney was also concerned about providing the star's email or computer because it contained "a lot of personal information," and it had a new book Prince was writing and "information not related to Prince's death," records show. . Investigators said the lawyer asked to be present when investigators examined the computer. Instead, the sheriff's department ended up serving the search warrant five days later, after having to wait for a locksmith to get it out of a new room where it was later stored inside Paisley Park.

A few general thoughts I have, reading all this: - Fame is actually a dangerous way to live. It obstructs your ability to have normal relationships based on mutual need and support. - Every relationship Prince had was mitigated by his fame. The people in his inner circle were all there because of his fame (either directly -- as an employees/mentee -- or more indirectly). There was no one who he seemed to interact with regularly who he had a "normal," peer-based relationship with. I don't think it was possible for him to have relationships like that; who could he meet who would be his "peer"? - His need for privacy was also an obsession with appearances/persona, and that seems like it would be an exhausting, harmful way to live. How things might look to the public seemed to factor into every decision he made. The amount of effort it would take to conceal his truths from those around him must have been pretty extreme and ultimately debilitating, just as a human being. - All in all, the picture here just made me sad. He seemed to be really alone in his struggles, both by his choice but also by the corner that his fame backed him into (or that he felt it did).
