If people can share the documents it would be appreciated..I never want to see pictures of P deceased..But documents from interviews I'd like to read..TY.. I think of all the regulars on Prince.o rg and come here because there are many who understand our love of P extends beyond his radio hits.

I'm trying but my computer is not cooperating. Or it's this site. But I'll do my best. No I would never share those pics or videos, no worries.

Kirk said that he took out the cameras and the alarm system before 2009, because they weren't there when kj started working there and that was 2009.

I will try to get those copies over here, but I'm having troubles getting them to work here.

Stop being a smart ass. Right now I've got so many windows open looking at the paperwork. If someone knows just say it. If you know you could just say it in your reply above instead of trying to be hateful. You took the time to reply but gave no answer.

Seeing the food and sunglasses on the table is heartbreaking. Did he have a chance to eat? Was it the food his chef said he prepared for Prince evening of the 20th or takeout? Weird because the chef said when he went back to Paisley tat weekend for the "memorial" the food he had prepared was still in the refrigerator "untouched." hmmm

So, with these photos coming out, all I could think to do was play a sad song, Sometimes in Shows in April, obviously, right?

I always remember hearing on the radio one Friday night before they played this, that Janet Jackson said it was her favourite song. I remember lying in bed listening to the acoustic guitar strings pluck and being amazed at the clarity and just everything about this song.

I can only speak of the lyrics, and we all now how powerful these are, we know...

I guess he's better off than he was before
A whole lot better off than the fools he left here
I used to cry for Tracy 'cause he was my only friend
Those kind of cars don't pass you every day

It really is overboard. Way beyond people's right to know. What about Prince's dignity and people who DON'T want to see all that? There's a fucking Toyota commercial before the video of him going in the clinic - in his hometown paper. Cha-ching. He would be horrified in so many ways. Doesn't that count?

Anyone that says they are downloading the zip files just to see footage of Paisley Park and the Vault is disingenious. I don't care if you want to look, but don't pretend that you spent all those hours downloading and "accidentally" saw Prince, and then come back here to "warn" us. Check yourselves, please.

To help out the people thinking about downloading the zip files that were released by the police.

.

Electronic_Records_1.zip contains Squad_Video. As far as I can tell, this is the dashcam footage of police that responded to the 911 call on 4/21/2016. Nothing of value.

Electronic_Records_3.zip contains graphic video footage of the death scene and no new information of value. AVOID!

.

I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see what the rest of the zip files contain.

[Edited 4/19/18 23:55pm]

Thank you for this! I downloaded the records_5.zip last night. (just randomly picked one to download). Tood TWO AND A HALF HOURS!! ugh. Good stuff in there though. got to hear larry graham finally talk to investigators. saw phone records...emails..etc.

So the entire investigation has been revealed?! People who used to be around Prince are studying all the files now, I guess.

Great song. Takes me somewhere everytime I hear it. Played the whole Parade album yesterday right before the shit hit the fan - so beautiful. Drove solo 1100 miles recently and listened to Prince the whole way. It wasn't lonely at all.

I've read of several of Prince associates who were uncooperative with the police after his death. I personally do not understand why these people would not cooperate with law enforcement unless they had something to hide.

for one it is likely we will all see the photos at some point. So seeing them when you are prepared may be better than being caught off guard.

As to what is good: lots of photos of the complex and of the vault. There are 100s of photos from PP (taken well after). Most are of little value. But a few are.

i used to work full-time on wrongful death cases in a law firm. i was the person who got the authorizations for release of information and obtained the state trooper accident scene photos, the accident report, incident report in cases involving domestic abuse and/or med malpractice, the autopsy report, medical records, and witness statements. once i was required to watch a video where a woman hanged herself in her prison cell and summarize it for my boss.

it was my job to print the material out, three-hole punch it and stick it all in a binder, then summarize it all for an attorney's review. i can only speak for myself, but the reason i'm reading the witness statements is to see exactly what each person said.

i'm not hardened to this kind of thing but i am able to distance myself from the shock of 'knowing'. it's not fun, and i've apologized to Prince's spirit (as with all wrongful death cases it's a little bit haunty to review this material) but i have to know.

not because i'm rolling around in muck because i think it smells good on me and not because i'm a voyeur, but just to see if i can put the pieces together. i'm good at that, even if it is no longer my official job.

the tragedy is shining through loud and clear.

no one had Prince's back. in the JPEG files some areas of the Park look neglected and in need of a good cleaning. makes me wonder what his staff actually did there. i sincerely doubt some of the parties' statements and it feels like a lot is going unsaid in order to either protect Prince's privacy or those who were involved.

at this point i'm wondering whether the entire file was released to the public to see if ayone out there can shed light on the details which escape the investigators who didn't know Prince's work. or maybe so that a superfan or one of his friends will review the material and connect the dots.

i'm especially intrigued by all of the telephone numbers jotted on bits of paper scattered around. wonder if the numbers were investigated thoroughly and etc.

it's overwhelming so i haven't finished the review yet. maybe this wekend. i love Prince more than ever now and respect him deeply. he was indeed brave and strong.

ps: i think it's really important we all spend time praying, meditating, or whatever on the good things Prince did. his talent and ability, his generous and loving side. to really celebrate his life and not let this release of information overshadow that. just my opinion

I've read many of the interview transcripts, and it's interesting that they do provide information about a number of topics that have caused months of dicussion here:

-

The PP security cameras: Kirk claimed they were all deactivated sometime prior to 2009. He alludes to Prince having some issues around being surveilled (there was much discussion here that the cameras were turned off just before Prince's death, which is not true per Kirk).

-

The timing and events in Moline: Per Judith, the doctors implored Prince to get additional testing there to figure out exactly what caused the near-death experience (it took 2 Narcan shots to revive him). They said he could be in danger if they didn't get more info about it. He understood but said he didn't want the testing done there (privacy reasons), so it wasn't done.

-

He told Judith that he had combined different pillw and he wouldn't do that again (perhaps he genuinely thought that is was the particular combination of pills that caused the reaction, and didn't suspect that at least one of the pills was fentanyl-tainted?). She wanted him to promise "no more pills."

-

Per Kirk, they stayed in Moline for several hours only because they had to wait for the plane to be ready. Kirk apparently said something at the hospital that he was surprised Prince was "doing this/did this again" (I'm paraphrasing here).

-

The "serious illness" theory: There's nothing in anything I've read that alludes to Prince having a serious illness like cancer. No one mentions him complaining of anything other than tingling/pain in his hands and leg (he saw a chiropractor in his final weeks) and vomiting. In the interviews the people say he seemed generally healthy, but thinner lately and having the "flu." He had no regular doctor (per Kirk) and Dr S said he had seen Prince only twice (the 2 April appointments).

-

What tests Dr S conducted the day before Prince died (that he was bringing to PP that day): Per Dr S' interview, it was standard blood work (basically what you'd have in a routine physical) and urinalysis for opioids. The only thing notable in the blood work was slight anemia, and the urinalysis did come back positive for opioids.

-

Kirk and Judith imply it was a big step to get Prince to agree to this kind of testing at all.

-

The backward clothes: Judith did mention that he typically wore his tank tops inside out. The clothes he was found in were the same clothes he was wearing the day before.

-

The location of his body: He was found in the elevator. The report says he was moved out of the elevator by the paramedic.

-

What those in the inner circle knew: They (kirk, judith, meron, larry, josh, hannah) were all adament that they had no idea P had a pain-pill problem, at least not until the last days of his life. Judith and Kirk said that in retrospect that did allow them to put some "clues" together (such as P's mood swings). Kirk said that P did say the day before he died that he wanted to 'talk to someone" about helping with his problem. There are a couple allusions (by Omarr and Dr S, I believe) to Mani knowing something about drug use during their marriage.

The files were released in multiple .zip and there's no guide to what contains what. If you think I really wanted to waste 5 hours downloading a .zip that contained dashcam footage from police that responded to the Paisley Park 911 call, you're mistaken. If you think that I knew beforehand that the videos of the death scene were worse than what was played on the news, you're also mistaken. It's not a brag that I saw it. It's a warning to others to not make the same mistake I did.

As to why people are trying to dig through the files? To hear what actually happened without the PR spin from the people involved. Compare the mentions of Judith Hill's statement to her New York Times interview about what happened. It's a much different story.

Also I really want to see if there's more photos from the day that the police broke into the Vault.

not because i'm rolling around in muck because i think it smells good on me and not because i'm a voyeur, but just to see if i can put the pieces together. i'm good at that, even if it is no longer my official job.

the tragedy is shining through loud and clear.

no one had Prince's back. in the JPEG files some areas of the Park look neglected and in need of a good cleaning in some areas. makes me wonder what his staff actually did there. i sincerely doubt some of the parties' statements and it feels like a lot is going unsaid in order to either protect Prince's privacy or those who were involved.

at this point i'm wondering whether the entire file was released to the public to see if ayone out there can shed light on the details which escape the investigators who didn't know Prince's work. or maybe so that a superfan will review the material and connect the dots.

i'm especially intrigued by all of the telephone numbers jotted on bits of paper scattered around. wonder if the numbers were investigated thoroughly and etc.

it's overwhelming so i haven't finished the review yet. maybe this wekend. i love Prince more than ever now and respect him deeply. he was indeed brave and strong.

I get it but at the same time I don’t, if you know what I mean. Connect the dots and do what? Are some people not going to rest until they have someone from Prince’s inner circle in jail?

we're all different. it's okay that we're different. some of us feel the need and others might not. please understand i mean absolutely no disrespect to Prince.

I did see that, yes. He was complaing of pain running down his leg.

-

I have to say, for all the talk here that he was incapacitated with hip pain or similar, there's very little mention of that in the interviews. No one really mentions noticing that he had trouble walking or anything like, or about him complaining of it. Judith said he complained of pain in his hands, and in early April he complained of the tingling and numbness in his arms and leg. Kirk I think alludes to him limping one day, and Kirk told Dr S that "hip pain" was the reason P needed the percocets, but that was pretty much it.

-

Also there was a lot of talk here about how unusual it was he was found in the elevator. Judith says that in fact he used the elevator "all the time."

-

Per Kirk, they stayed in Moline for several hours only because they had to wait for the plane to be ready.

-

The "serious illness" theory: There's nothing in anything I've read that alludes to Prince having a serious illness like cancer. No one mentions him complaining of anything other than tingling/pain in his hands and leg (he saw a chiropractor in his final weeks).

There are a couple allusions (by Omarr and Dr S, I believe) to Mani knowing something about drug use during their marriage.

did you notice the bit about Prince having been seen by a chiropractor (on what appears to have been unless i misread it late last night when i stayed up until my eyes got blurry) that night? did you read it that way too? first time i've heard that. hmm

I found the vault pictures. .zip #5. took me two and a half hours to download though. Ugh. vault pics.. larry graham audio interview...and kirk's phone records

i used to work full-time on wrongful death cases in a law firm. i was the person who got the authorizations for release of information and obtained the state trooper accident scene photos, the accident report, incident report in cases involving domestic abuse and/or med malpractice, the autopsy report, medical records, and witness statements. once i was required to watch a video where a woman hanged herself in her prison cell and summarize it for my boss.

Respect for your profession. You have insight. I am not talking about thoughtful posts like yours. It's lovely that you apologize to the spirits you are working with. I am interested in the interviews or I wouldn't even be on this thread. I downloaded some of it last night, the Prince voice in my head made me delete what I already read before I went to sleep. I was having trouble getting back to the file and decided to leave it there and do it today but the inner voice said NO, once is enough, take it out of your orbit. So I did.

From Westworld:

Dr. Robert Ford: "An old friend once told me something that gave me great comfort. Something he read. He said Mozart and Beethoven never died. They simply became music."

From me: That's the way I prefer to think of Prince.

Absolutely. heart

Great portrait of Prince, would love it hangng on my wall. My parents had portraits painted of themselves in 18th century garb when they renovated an old farmhouse. We called them instant ancestors.
