Bottom line is, Prince's family could release a public statement. I'm still holding out hope that they will, at some point in the not too distant future. This will put a lot of this drama and speculations to rest. It's been 2-years and the fans still don't have any real closure; at least I don't.

.

I will never buy into the drug-addict theory, because Prince had the money to have the best doctor's in the world and he could have gotten treatment for his pain and/or dependency, instead of taking street drugs with a lethal cocktail of drugs. eek confused

i don't get the feeling that anyone in that family has there head on even remotely straight so i wouldn't hold my breath. Tyka and her intuition, the other guy, vietnam vet who is schizophrenic, they were siblings but they inhabited a totally different world, mentally and physically than Prince.

I wish they would knock on ours so that we could remind them of the pagansitic history of honoring Jesus. It's just as bad as Christmas and claiming God himself was a "christian'. The man is dead.

Which is why they're knocking on doors because they don't celebrate "Easter" no more than they celebrate "Christmas" the only difference is biblically Passover marks the timing.

ya, it doesn't take but a few minutes of research to realize much of the bible, christianity is taken from older sources and a lot of it is symbolic of other things. just yesterday i was watching the comparisons of jesus and the solar system. When i first studied the stuff, at 16, it ruined the bible for me. Sadly, some people are so brainwashed that they'd never let anything like that into their minds.

With all respect,Pete, I think a man who habitually went without proper nourishment and rest exhibited a long-standing disrespect for his body. As to the 'no reports, no forewarnings, etc.' I also have a different view. I think a lot of his behaviors, chalked up to privacy, paranoia, control, trust issues, no desire or capacity to be in a long-term, healthy relationship indicates someone whose entire world was geared to keeping secrets.

secrets only can be kept for so long. I think the 38 years he did it is unheard of for addiction. Of course people have said things about the paranoia in the past few years but he was always more than a little paranoid, even when people said he didn't mess with drugs. when i pointed to his lack of sleep, food and his work ethic, you have a point, it wasn't good for him in the long term but, my point was, a guy who could do without those things, a few withdrawals wouldn't be anything. I am positive though, people will talk in the coming years. I'm still surprised more people haven't spoken out on MJ and his molestation stuff, but I'd bet you that eventually people will. Truth has a way of coming out.

Hi Pete, thanks for your response to my comment bolded above WHICH HAS DISAPPEARED FROM THIS THREAD FOR SOME ODD REASON...I wonder if I got too close to the truth!

Mayte said in her book that he was not addicted to substances while they were married. Were there a few incidents of taking pills/drinking too much, yes, but these were few and far between.

not only all that, dude wasn't dumb, he seemed to be self-aware to me, honest and reflective with himself in not everyone else. Smart dude, i would think he'd realize what sort of trouble he was in and done the right things. that's just my impression. none of it makes sense, even if he was the highest functioning of addicts, that would only tell me that he'd be clear headed enough to know where he was in terms of addiction. like i said, you can't hide those issues, especially people in the public eye like that, usually they lie their motherfucking asses off and no one believes them, elvis did, whitney did, at least mj was straight about his use. sure people can function but they can't hide the shit that i'm aware of. i guess it would depend on the drug and it's effect on the person too though. some alcoholics never lose control do they? I think I've known a few who never let it interfere with their jobs and i'm talking high functioners, one guy is a high ranking state attorney and he drinks every night.

IMO, religion is personal, nobody has empirical knowledge on the spiritual. I've had a ton of arguments on who's right who's wrong, at this point I don't care, everybody has their needs seems to me the Bible kind mentions that and not everything is for everybody. Given the internet, one would be hard pressed not to find somebody who isn't brainwashed by something so no biggie trading one thing for another.

So, I'm trying to understand this... Because Prince had enough money to afford the best doctors in the world = making him incapable of procuring and ingesting illicit substances? Did I get that right? If so, I have tons of examples of people with lots of money/highly educated that do a lot of reckless dumb things.

Religious syncretism and God are two different things. The eisegetic commentator will always believe in trading one thing for another. There is nothing critical about their findings.

You're right. I have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote that. After all, It's only the poor downtrodded street junkie who has ever been recorded as procuring and ingesting illicit substances. It was probably cleared up in Chapter (5) of the "book" and I overlooked it.

Brilliant, but I have a slight disagreement...a LOT of people both here and in what is termed the 'Prince camp' knew he was dependant on pills...but those closest to him had no leverage to get him into treatment and were, for the most part, praying and hoping he would finally agree to seek help on his own. It's called denial...Prince suffered from it as did his closest associates, IMO.

I really have no idea what you're talking about. I only commented on your post because I understood you wanted to give the JW an earful about the pagan roots of Easter which I found amusing since it would amount to preaching to the choir. Which may be why they're out in force right now.

Something like that, it's part of the denial. People stress in the moment over 'what should we do? and come up empty and after it's too late, people have great certitude about "well, this is what I would have done...etc....also, I don't see any of the insiders wanting to be the first one to tell it like it is..(.or was. ) On some level, the entire story is totally transparent, understandable and believable to me..I know there's a whole cohort of fellow Orgers. who see many overlapping consipracies...but to me, I feel it deeply as the story of a wounded man who was alone and trying to do his very best in a tough world. RIP.

But why would they feel obligated to keep silent in death as they did when he was alive even if it could resolve the unanswered? Is this blind loyalty, or a common case of idolizing ?

ya, but that's why we should be open to growth, i'm ashamed to say it but i've been brainwashed before, placed faith in the wrong places but you don't just stay there and you don't let the shit keep happening, you learn. I also have no problem with a spiritual life, i am spiritual too, but there were so many things that never made a lick of sense in my church and i always questioned things, some people never allow themselves to question. I'll put it this way, i do not fully trust anyone who doesn't believe in a higher power but that doesn't mean i want to go and join anyones little club, people are too fucked up, i have no use for church myself.

Yet again that person Abigail that you all call crazy is proven correct. She said from day 3 after his passing that he was dosed with liquid fentanyl and lidocaine and that it was very large amounts.

The fact that he had enough fentanyl in his stomach to kill 4000 people his size proves she was correct. It is impossible to take that much in pill form, you would be gone long before you got to that point. Not only were they not pills, but clearly this was no accident, as she stated as well.

I believe they cited a number of 4 that would kill someone, he had a number of 14,000 as a reading in his stomach. This shows it was the first point of entry entry for this cocktail, and also explains why the liver had a number more in line (still very high) that could kill someone, because our dear Prince was long gone before enough of the stuff could be processed by his liver.

I agree with you. Prince was murdered. Someone in his inner circle sold him out, 2 years after he got the rights to his master recordings. Prince was being poisoned for 2 years and this was all planned out to look like a overdose. Mistakes were made. They thought by cremating his body, they would get away with murder. Charges are coming and for all of you who believe the fake news media who is selling the fake opiate narrative, you are not a real Prince fan. You can’t fool a real Prince fan with this bullshit overdose. Prince said himself if he dies and they try to say it was because of a drug overdose then that means he was murdered. Why is Prince dead after getting the rights to his own music catalog and after doing a agreement with Tidal and the demon Jay Z. Put it together folks. Doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure this out.
