Interestingly enough, none of the warrants say anything about what he might have been carrying on his person. But I guess they wouldn't at that time since, he physically wasn't there when the 1st warrant was issued. But neither does the ME report. I have no idea if something like that would show up in the report, all it mentioned were the clothes he wore, not even a tube of chapstick or loose change was listed. I'll have to scan the reports again, but iirc most of his meds were in and around his personal rooms. So at what point did he take the meds? Leaving his personal rooms?

The information you seek above would be in the Investigative Reports and not the Search Warrants.

They only put minimal information in the Search Warrants.

Just enough information so the warrants will be signed and issued by the Judge.

We will never know what is in the Investigative Reports unless someone is charged criminally and that wont happen.

I recall they said there was a bottle of pills in his front pocket. And, if his clothing was on backwards, would that mean it was the back pocket?? eek

I don't remember that. The clothes on backwards I do, but not the finding of a bottle of pills. It's been a while since I read that article.

I remember when people here were saying that he had an opioid "on him" could have meant a patch. so much secrecy and wierd wording that every little kernel of truth is going to be a fight. I'm not advocating the invasive reports of Whitney and MJ but at least we got the truth about them didn't we?

I think the article about the clothing on backwards, came from the Star Tribune via an official(source) close to the investigation? I could be wrong on which news/media outlet reported that , but if true, it seems that it was either a deliberate act (to have all of ones clothing on backwards) or, an impulsive reaction from the effect(s) of the opiate(s).

I don't know if the media reports about the amount of fentanyl found in his system are true, but if so, symptoms prior to overdosing would have began within seconds/minutes. "Poison pill" or not, his death may not have been a painful one at all if the reports are true.

As to how he got in the elevator within second/minutes of feeling symptoms ... well, where does it lead to and how long would it have taken it to get there?

i know nothing about that kind of od either but I've read that with what he took he wouldn't have time to do anything other than go under. people have come up with all kinds of conspiracy theories about the backwards clothes, i read different things, it seems to be some kind of obscure, old world practice, and some people have said it's the sign of a mafia hit. I don't know about that but, for about the millionth time, the shit is bizarre.

I remember hearing a news report on the radio within a couple days of his death that stated a bottle of Percocet was found in his pocket of the clothing he was wearing. I live in MN. This was the first thing i had ever heard linking Prince to opioid use. My heart sank and i remember pulling off the road and texting my son thru tears "No, not him too!!!" I was so hurt and angry that those damn pills could even take down someone as great and mighty as Prince. It was almost too much to bear. He wasnt even a match for those pills. It still hurts. I work in healthcare and i see the opioid crisis up close and personal every day. That Prince was one of the unfortunate ones sucked into its vortex was devastating to me. I have nothing but sympathy and compassion for his struggle. It made me respect him even more knowing this additional burden he carried. Lots of folks here have different ideas and opinions about his death and I'm really trying to just stay away from all of that as its been almost two years of that nonsense. I know he was another victim of the opioid crisis sweeping this country. I accept that. There is no shame in that. Perhaps some of the unique details of his particular case leave some questions but getting answers to those things won't change the outcome. They don't make a difference in the end. Prince is still gone and his death was still a tragic accident due to his use/abuse of opioids. Doesn't matter why, doesn't matter how. Not really. Certainly not to me. It won't change anything. It won't bring him back.
(I won't be reading the inevitable beatdown Laura and some others will surely reply with. But this is what i believe to be true and i want it to be my last word on the subject.)

Yes, bizarre, to say the least!!

.

I would have to do some research about the pills in pocket story. That was the info that was being put out there when the story first broke.
