Some good stuff on here, including one of my grail tracks in superb quality, Positivity with the Music Is The Key rap. Wish there was less Ingrid and rehash. Still - two thumbs up!

As incredible as these releases are, they lose major points for including tracks that were/are available to legally purchase. Yes, I know that this is standard operating procedure for EYE, but it still manages to piss me off...

Am I the only one that feels this way?

Hey guys, can you help me figure something out? I just realized that what I have filed as "BFTP 3" is not that at all.

Instead it's a group of 47 tracks/outakes, beginning with

1. Computer Blue #1

2. Lisa #2

3. Standing in the Rain

4. Baby I'm a Star (81-82)

5. Computer Blue #2

... and ending with

47. Trust (Dub Mix)

6 versions of Computer Blue are included in total.

Does this compilation ring a bell for anyone? What's it called? Google hasn't lead me to anything, it's a little weird.

Yeah, I don't think it has a proper title but it's basically just a big bunch of miscellaneous outtakes that leaked in 2015, and was later substantially duplicated on BFTP 3.0. I just labelled the folder "2015 Leaks", as I said it doesn't have a real title.

I haven't had a chance to listen to any of either of them yet. I Hope to get the headphones on later and give them a skim before listening properly tomorrow.

I'm not sure what to make of this copy of If I Love U 2 Night. It's higher quality than the previously circulating ones (including the version on the Mica Paris 12"), but it's got some weird female backing vocals going on, most noticably at 2:45 and 2:55.

Anyone know who this is and what's going on with it?!

Yeah, I was immediately taken by the quality from the drum intro. I was surprised when I didn't hear much of that reverb on the snare. I noticed that some of Prince's own backing vocals were muted on some parts of this version as well. The other background vocals are a mystery to me as well. This one is obviously edited down, which makes me wonder if there's other versions clocking in over 4 minutes with the spoken parts included.

Well... There sure are a lot of Cheves's poetry on 5.0..... 4.0 is my favorite. Can't believe I just heard Data Bank Prince vocals. Now if only I could get my hands on "I Don't Wanna Leave You" Prince vocals...

Did you never have the Box Of Chocolates boot? Data Bank has been around for ages. Glad you've heard it now though, a great track.

That saxophone riff on I Need A Man (inst).... It's so familiar and I can't place which other track it is on -- driving me nuts! Help!

I first got Prince And The Revolution's Data Bank on VINYL in '88. I thought everybody had that one.

OMG @ 'If I Could Get Your Attention!" I'ts one of my favorite songs with Prince on vocals to begin with. To have it in this quality blows my mind!
