I just thought of something, sorry if seems off the wall, but it shifted perspective for me a little when I remembered/ all the talk about the
pill stashes-
I watched the whole Showtime series of 'Nurse Jackie' (starring Edie Falco)
It was a spellbinding tale of a careered ER nurse who had an acute addiction
to pain meds! She WAS able to perform her job for some years- she had a natural talent and experience for it.
But the pill addiction- OMG. And she hid pills ALL the time. Stashes everywhere in her house. And then you'd see her tearing thru at times trying to find them.
This is crushing/ we loved Prince.

Kirk could not have "cleaned up" the place because there were witnesses present when they found P.

Of course he could have. If he was responsible for all this as some believe, he could have gone back to PP at any time, let himself in to clean up the evidence, locked up and left with all of it.

The doctor was there, then soon after cops everywhere. He couldn't clean up unless he was there alone.

I agree, it would have been hard for Kirk to clean up: Per the warrant, the drugs were found at Paisley Park on the afternoon of 4/21. http://www.mncourts.gov/m...ndex-1.pdf

Is Kirk going to be used as the 'scapegoat' ???

Is nailing him or anyone involved for that matter going to bring Prince back?

No, BUT- he needs to get his 30 year enabling AZZ the f*ck out of PAISLEY PARK! That's for DAMN SURE!

I think KJ was good in getting lawyered up. Sounds like he will ultimately do some time in the pokey.

It's apparent the drug thing wasn't a sudden thing and he was complicit at the very least. And I doubt very much Prince was handed these drugs directly by anyone else but KJ. So the Prince Fentanyl connection goes right through the one and only KJ.

KJ, sorry man, but you going to do some time.
While you're out you better stock up on cigarettes and calling cards.

He deserves jail because he was the enabler and he should have stayed just a few hours until the doctors arrived. But then again, I'm really not sure who is involved in Prince's death. All his clothing on backwards means something.
I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

My mom is a nurse. At the hospital where she works (a children's hospital), it takes 2 people to access drugs like morphine. Two people have to scan their badge or enter a password or something like that. And I think one of the reasons is to prevent situations like this where medical personnel may try to take medications from the hospital for personal use.

For whatever reason, I didn't think of Larry Graham when I wrote my comment, but yes, he would be another member of that inner circle for sure.

Prince was probably hiding his pill problem from LG and the JWs because he could kicked out of the JWs if they found out.

Great point, tmo1965.

The only thing that was disputed WAS the fact that you were blatantly calling *Diazapam* generic FOR VICODIN....that's it...quit backpedaling about something that had no mention in the FALSE statement you provided, PERIOD. Point being you need not throw out your suppositions as fact when they are just that, ignorant suppositions. When you put things out there as fact, people take you at your word.FACT is : Xanax and Va lium ARE the same, NOT Diazapam and Vicodin.

Here's an idea: why don't you BOTH STFU, since you're both wrong!

Xanax and Valium are not the same drug. Xanax is the trademarked name for alprazolam, Valium is the trademarked name for diazepam. Both are benzodiazepines, but they are not the same drug. For one thing, Xanax is a shorter-acting drug than Valium. (I know - I've taken both.)

No shit, SHERLOCK- read the fucking reply that stated that XANAX is what Valium is already broken down in the body, HENCE "shorter acting"...Xanax being prescribed in .25, .5 and 1 mg....Valium 1,5 10 mg.

DAMN GENESIA, HOW THICK IN THE HEAD ARE YOU?!

The exact thing you *tried* inserting your ignorant 2 cents about, is now what you need to do...."LOOK IT UP", and while you're at it , STFU as well!!!!!

Now kiss and make up

I've seen posts where people are saying "oh Kirk's in trouble now"! ....or how he's "going to be arrested soon". Thing is....this isn't new info. Just new to US. Cops have obviously known everything in those warrants since the beginning. And yet....Kirk still wasn't arrested. Even though this is an ongoing investigation, I have a feeling he will not be held liable for anything. If they had enough to get him with what those search warrants uncovered...they would have gotten him by now. So either 1) He's cooperating to the point that he can do them (the cops) more good than harm. And have told him that if he keeps up with the cooperation, they won't prosecute. 2) The only thing the really have him on according to what was released today, was his name on those bottles. And that's more fault of the doctor, and Prince, than it is on Kirk. So unless they can prove Kirk literally put the pills in Prince's mouth....they can't probably do much to him..yet. 3) Conflicting statements can keep the cops busy for years. He said/She said can go on forever. They may not have solid enough proof to arrest anyone yet. Believe it or not...I think the cops have bigger fish to fry than Kirk in this case. I have a feeling they want the source of where those (counterfit) pills came from.....cause Prince probably isn't the first person they killed..

Great Point! and I think this is true.. we forget that the policve have know this info for a year..

I wondered too...it looks like

??? 1,2&3 from Hennepin county swab of neck left and right hand and neck

I can't figure out the word before 1,2,3..it looks like Hew or Hem or heur...

I believe it says "Item #1, 2 and 3 from Hennepin Co swab of neck left and right hand and neck"

Perhaps Hennepin Co is the coroner? And they swabbed a couple locations on his body looking for drug residue, maybe?

That's why I'm asking for clarification on that line. The only residue I know of that is swabbed for is a damn GSR...which is gun shot residue. I have never heard of being swabbed for a drug. Can anyone in the medical field state whether someone can be swabbed for drug residue?? Behind left ear, right and left hand??? Is that what I'm reading?

But I think you are right...the word I couldn't figure out is item..

Item 1,2, & 3 from Hennepin Co swab of neck left and right hand and neck is what I read, not behind ear.

I Googled swabbing a neck and came up with nothing. Maybe he had vomited or they saw pill dust residue on these parts of his body. I'm going to search fentanyl overdose and see what I come up with.

A fentanyl overdose will result in several characteristic physical symptoms. These symptoms will be easily observed by those who know what to look for, and include:3,4,5

Confusion.
Dizziness.
Difficulty thinking, speaking, or walking.
Pale face.
Blue- or purple-colored lips, fingernails, or extremities.
Throwing up.
Choking sounds.
Pinpoint pupils (pupil size reduced to small black circles in middle of eyes).
Seizures.
Low blood pressure.
Slowed heart rate.
Excessive drowsiness.
Frequent fainting spells (nodding off).
Limp body.
Unresponsive.
Coma.
Difficulty breathing.
Hypoventilation (slow, shallow breathing).
Respiratory arrest.
Death.
Once fentanyl overdose symptoms begin, it’s important to get the user help as soon as possible to reduce long-term or even fatal consequences. Call 911 or seek emergency services as soon as possible.

Oh my gosh! TMI! I'm just curious to know if swabbing for drug residue is normal protocol, or if that's what was actually done. Thanks for the detective work, though

Exactly she had been to rehab herself so she knew that people do not have just die from pills.

I actually read that very rarely do people on pain pills o.d because they throw up so much. It is usually mixing with other drugs and alcohols.

But isn't the issue not really the pain pills per say, but the fact that the pills in question were cut with an exuberant amount of fentanyl. As someone else posted, I think we are losing sight of the fact that it was the fentanyl.

My questions remain the same after reading though the warrants
Something is still not feeling right with Dr Ks son Andrew.
His story is just that a story and seems shady.
Andrew told officers the drugs in his backpack were from his own med cabinet. They were also brought in envelopes....and he said he did not intend to treat P? Then why did he bring those drugs with him in the first place? Seems he may have been able to have had the fake laced pill and could have added pills to innocent looking bottles.

Not clear when he really first arrived at PP it says 9:43 am and his plane got in at 6am. I am sure the phone records would show when the communication between him and Kirk took place.

But if he had gotten off the pills on the 16th, the day everyone in the world knew he had a problem, he would never have ingested the fentanyl. I keep butting in, I stay up late.

I swear I'm tired of addiction being a dirty word. Nobody in their right mind wants to be addicted to drugs, specifically people who are in pain. It's nothing to be ashamed of, it can happen to anyone. Perscription drugs are very easy to get addicted to, as we can see with the increase in overdoses of both Hollywood and everyday people.

I think Andrew is a liar but he did have the good grace not to implicate his father, who is probably more to blame for the drugs in Andrew's backpack. His father probably told him exactly what to take and what to give Prince if Prince had been alive and in desperate need of withdrawal relief.

Saying Andrew is a murderer is a stretch for me, I can't do that, why would Andrew bring in the fentanyl laced pill?

It says He arrived at 9am...

the call to the Sherriffs office was made it 9.43

P was pronounced deceased at 10:07

from 9 until 9.43 until they found him ?

Thats a long time....One would think the elevator would be one of the first places they visited since it gave access to upstairs..
