Once again in denial. He planned the party, which I thought should not have been, to say goodbye. Not in plain words, but it his last timeto be with his fans. He didn't perform at the party, but instead says the words "wait a few days before you waste any prayers'. Everytime I hear that it pisses me off because I was thinking quit trying control everything which he was big on including if your fans wanna pray for you. No prayers are wasted

So he ordered a new custom-made Purple piano and a hand-crafted Gus guitar for what purpose? To take with him in the afterlife???

Why not simply because he wanted it, could afford it and even if he passed away they could be used like the other things he had saved for PP to be a museum.

Uh-huh. Sure.

It's understandable not to understand someone doing that if someone's never had that sort of disposable income and the desire to treat themself to something that others might feel was extravagant "simply because" they wanted to do it...

Sorta like splurging on a luxurious car...even though you're blind and cannot obtain a driver's license...Oh, wait, both Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles reportedly did that.

Nevermind.

Lala told Militant that Prince "would regularly wear both his shirts and pants backwards when he was lounging or relaxing". You can choose to believe her or not.

Backwards and inside-out are not the same thing.

Nobody claimed his socks were on backwards. The anonymous source said "Prince was wearing a black shirt and pants — both were on backward — and his socks were inside-out, according to a source familiar with the case".

-- Why would anyone notice if his socks were inside out. I do not understand why anyone gives credibility to what unamed sources have to say. If you are not willing to put your name behind something the information has little credibility. I also find it interesting that everyone wants to believe La La now when no one wanted to pay attention to her comments about "how we do not know the whole story "or her refruting the AIDS rumors.

confuse I'm simply pointing out what exactly was said. You're free to believe whatever or whoever you want.

--Do not waste your time using logic. Nevermind what Andrian Crutchfield said or Mono Neon about the upcoming concert dates. Nevermind the artwork for the project. Black is the new Black. Never mind he was suppose to open the stadium. Never mind the 9 additional concert that the Atlanta promoter said were lined up. None of these things are facts just random stuff that appeared in the media and came out of people's mouths. 😳

I don't believe Prince would've thrown a party at Paisley to try to alleviate concerns, made plans well in to the summer and most crucially, passed away without a will or even the vaguest of instructions if he 'knew his time was limited.' [Edited 3/12/17 14:36pm]
--http://blog.thecurrent.org/2017/03/one-year-ago-today-prince-surprised-everyone-at-the-chanhassen-dinner-theater-with-an-impromptu-guitar-solo/. Look how good he looked at month before he died and how bad he looked at Atlanta show. Something happened in that last month.

100% agree with this. He looked great in this clip rocking the blues on that white guitar....yet in a matter of days something went horribly wrong. The Atlanta clips are beyond heart-breaking. He also, as awlays had a tonne of plans so his passing was I suspect wholly unexpected by him [& of course us].

Yamaha confirmed the new piano. Prince posted a photo of it on April 12th, nine days before his death.

She also believes the Piano and Mic tour was somethinng he had to do as his time was limited, looking back it was his farewell tour.

I don't think the Piano and Mic tour was his farewell tour. He had to tour to keep paying the bills. His bones weren't like they were in his 20's. He couldn't do the things that he used to, and this was a good way to go on tour, with just his piano. He had scaled down a lot.

I think so too. He was not doing well financially and he had bills to pay. With all the properties he owned,he sure did have to pay alot in taxes each year. The Piano and Microphone Tour was just a way for Prince to perform without incurring alot of expenses and also to reduce the need to use the guitar due to wrist pain.Even if his time had come to retire,he could have survived on releasing more of the music he had in the vault and venturing into acting( I think). After his death,he did make money so that means he still had potential. To be honest,in my opinion, the loneliness he faced was more of an issue for him. If he had a spouse,he could have had a better life. But music was his first and only love.Immortality got in middle and he is now gone. So,cherish the music and keep the legacy.

How do you know he was not doing well finacially? He had very little liabilities and lots of assets. How do you know something was wrong with his wrist?

He may have known his time was short, but he did not know the exact date of death. Bowie still had plans, even though he knew his death would happen soon, and was inevitable. Music was Prince's and Bowie's life. They would keep on going until the end, whenever that was.

Bowie died from cancer, while Prince died from an accidental overdose of the opioid Fentanyl. That's the big difference between what happened. One was inevitable, the other preventable.

David Bowie was also rumored to have AIDS. One woman even sued him in the late 1980s saying that he had infected her with the HIV virus.
