Dunno if it'd be a commercial success though cuz I dunno what plays on radio these days, but it's certainly catchy.

However, Prince's music is so different from much of the sh they play on Top 40 these days it is hard to imagine any of his songs charting in the US unless it was on an Urban Contemporary stations and for them I would select one of his R&B leaning ballads.

Yes I am leaning toward agreeing with you. I think the Twinz are more in the spotight on the fun quirky Prince-y type style, the fact that they are "playing" guitars and really animated with their facial expressions. They were are a great energy! And I don't think this was a rehearsal version of the main video, as one could suspect due to Prince's low power. Overall it's just a really fun song and the colors are fantastic. But yes, Prince needs to pump it up.

I've never seen him to a letter C gesture with his hand like that in his career, so that was a teenie little cool choreography touch.

I think you're talking about the version with stills from the 21 Nights book. . The OP is talking about a newly surfaced performance version, I think. Him and the band are dressed in 60's gear.

That was a lyric video mostly. Not the one we're talking about here. It's a trippy 60's Laugh-In inspired clip, only about 2 minutes. Fun, nonetheless.

It's great 2 C him with the Twinz(playing guitar) I always wonder why he didn't utilized them and their guitar playing...
