Tora Tora Video Hello everyone, I have a question for you all. So about 10 years ago I had a dvd from around the 94/95 era which had Prince using his Tora Tora alter-ego. The video was about 45 minutes and had a remix to Ghetto Heaven by Family Stand, it was kinda weird because it also had clips from the Barbarella movie from 1968 and women dancing. I was really just wondering if anyone remembers this or saw it? | |

Yeah, this was known as the Glam Slam wallpaper as it was played on the video screens at the clubs. It features snippets of tracks from The Gold Experience mixed with R&B/Hip Hop from 1994/5 (ATCQ, Black Sheep, Janet Jackson, The Family Stand, etc). It also included footage from some of the unreleased videos he'd made in 1994 (18 & Over, Empty Room, Zannalee, Same December) as well as a very brief clip of the unreleased Days of Wild video. The rest of the footage is either computer generated graphics or clips from Barbarella, The Gate or many of the ErotiCity shows at Glam Slam. 3121... Don't U Wanna Come? |

Prince signed my Get Wild CD as Tora Tora . Or should that be Tora Tora signed my CD as Tora Tora. . At the time I remember this being so cool as only Prince could be so bonkers! .
