Damn you Nouveau! I was happy not even knowing that existed, now I want it!! biggrin
Won't be paying those prices though... sad

According to this thread http://prince.org/msg/7/329678 that extended version of "America" is a vinyl rip.

Not worth the expensive prices then.

All The Critics Love U In New York (Edit)

Alphabet St. (Cont.)

The Arms Of Orion (Edit)
Gold (Edit) probably on a promo CD I'm unaware of

Space (Universal Love Radio Remix) ditto possible promo CD

Batdance (Batmix & Vicki Vale Mix Radio Edits)

Still Waiting (Original LP Version)

Soft And Wet (Disco Mix)

Just As Long As We're Together (Disco Mix)

Little Red Corvette (Dance Remix Edit)

God (Instrumental) this is one I've seen digital copies of, but sourced from vinyl

There are also album versions that are released on singles that are isolated from album elements such as segues:
Ronnie Talk To Russia

Partyman

Damn U

Also, there are a few mono mixes of early singles.

Q In Doubt is on the Cream CDMS

Where is databank, he can help with this list.

Well I'm gonna trust u guys, u know as much as I do when it comes to specific formats.

Are those Ronnie and Damn U versions u mentions different in any way from the album cuts? I don't remember ever hearing anything about those eek

.

Cheers, so as confirmed, Girl Extended was never used in the NPGMC.

.

On another note, PV is great but not definitively accurate.

.

neutral

It wouldn't have been mentionned here: stuff that was streamed in the "rooms" isn't mentioned on those song pages. There's a full list of them on the NPGMC page, though: http://princevault.com/in..._(Website)

Besides apparently being a vinyl rip as stated by Sexton, it was -more importantly- a slightly shorter edit than the original release, so America Ext. is still unreleased on CD.

I remember not purchasing it when released because I thought it was the same version and I had a rip that sounded good at the time. I regret it now that I know it's a different edit neutral

See my reply above. It's not the exact same edit.

Damn U is exactly the same track without the seque that is on the end of the album track on the CD.

Ronnie Talk 2 Russia is exactly the same as the album track on CD, minus the first 9 seconds. It starts with the rapid fire snares.
