Wasn't there a woman he would speak with every week, and then another woman with a child in "the islands" - he would stay at her home. I don't know if they are the same person. The one in the islands was mentioned here on the org. The every week comment came in the first days after April 21 - that she hadn't heard from him and called PP.

I've read the same thing regarding the anonymous women mentioned above in other threads as well. Don't remember which threads but that was all that was said. The orger that mentioned the woman that he supposedly would speak to every week didnt want to say who it was unless that woman brought it up or something to that effect. Again, another "privacy" thing. Rather taunting, Would have been better to left it unwritten rather than put it out there.

i have used words in this thread many times like "seemingly". Prince seemingly wanted people to think they were together for awhile.Why? who knows? If you look at Andy's other Facebook,Hannah Welton and her father and mother and father in law were posting on it not only promoting her solo career but sometimes posting about the "chemistry" she had with Prince,how beautiful she was etc.Maybe Prince asked them to post all those things to hype Superconductor.I also saw where Hannah and Adrian Crutchfield liked Andy's tribute post on her Facebook which means they must have agreed with what was written.Andy posted herself that they "shared a great love,a great many laughs and tears".So I guess Andy made more of the relationship than was there or maybe is even lying.Who knows.A lot of the fans love Andy as a person and have said she makes them feel close to Prince which is why a lot of them flocked to her Facebook on April 21 to give their love and condolences.They consider her to be special.Her Facebook post has over 11K likes,her Instagram post almost 4,000 likes.Many fans liked Andy and Prince together what ever the relationship was.I love the music they did together and I thought their relationship was cute what ever it was.-Also Prince putting her picture up in the Galaxy Room at Paisley Park has led many to believe that Prince loved her in some way.He obviously wanted it up for some reason,perhaps to draw people to her music,which it has done for some people.Only Prince knew how he felt about her but he definitely seemed to care about her and so did his friends and bandmates.

According to an orger, Prince did, however say this to a stunned audience, reportedly at the afterjam on 9/26/12 after her performance of "People Pleaser": "I don't care what ya'll say, I got a crush on that girl." As you might imagine, this really got tongues wagging on theOrg. The very next day, there was an entire thread dedicated to Prince and Andy which I have linked here. Just as they are here, many fams were critical of her, but P let it be known that he could not care less. He gave ZERO f**ks.

I remember that post about the HOB Chicago show.Then some thought Prince was making a fool of himself over a young woman who probably was just using him.I also remember KCOOL posting that they were at the Jimmy Kimmel show in October 2012 and Prince never let Andy out of his sight.

So did he go to EF and tell the owner to treat AA's album as if it was his own? Didn't he do that with JH? His door did not just revolve, it spun at warp speed.

Yes I agree.He did always have his eye out for new talent.His latest protege Natasha was seemingly the latest.It was mentioned on the org that during one of the PPAD he came into the room with a beautiful blonde with long curly hair-i think it was during the Oui Can Luv livestream event and announcement of the European Piano Mic shows.They said Prince had her sit on a pillow while he performed.They wanted to know if it was a new girlfriend It looked like Natasha in one of the pics taken outside the first memorial at PP.Not saying she was his gf just that she seemed to be the last potential protege..

Natasha is really pretty I think.After his passing,she put up a post on Twitter that Prince requested that she cover his song Free Yourself and she put up a link to the Youtube video.I think she was playing bass in the video sitting by the shore IIRC.She also plays piano quite beautifully and I liked her voice-though it was rather different.

Right.I knew he did that with JH's cd,I said I was not aware if he did the same with Superconductor.I don't remember him ever even mentioning EF in 2011 or 12.I never heard him talk about EF until he began working with 3rdeyegirl in 2013.Andy took control of Superconductor and released it herself.I don't know if Prince was sitting on it and she took matters into her own hands or she preferred to release it independently of Prince.

Exactly. Her tribute video is lovely, but as pinkcashmere23 wrote she was, at best (my words), a POTENTIAL protegé. Let's not get carried away. As I said, whatever friendships/dalliances/recruits he might have had in his last days, no woman had the status of Andy; however, her tactical decision to be absent might have left too much of a vacuum for a man like Prince.
