Ugh. I know. This site, and threads like this one, should be a source of comfort and solace. I will NEVER understand why hatefull trolls waste their time trying to bring others down to their low level with them. I don't go for the supernatural kind of take on it but when the shock of April hit, I was so busy I had no time to check out even the slightest details. All I knew was I had a couple of condolence texts from people on the day without them actually specifying who had died. When I found out it was P, I just shut that right off and didn't get into playing his music, catching the speculation and press or ANYTHING.
Because of this, I started to get little notions that 'Hmmm....is he REALLY dead?'

I've since seen a theory that he isn't which was dissed by others who had the 'illuminati killed him' thing going (I always refer these people to Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson's 'Illuminatus' or tell them to STOP reading Dan Brown and/or listening to David Icke podcasts but do they listen?) but I thought it was very feasible and expanded my own notions.

The kind of vibe I get is therefore about clues left before he 'departed' or things which come up in news stories that seem to have his hand and brand of 'sick' humour embedded.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I believe he's still around but I would not be at all surprised to wake up one morning to 'OUTRAGE AS PRINCE RETURNS'

Wow. No one is trying to pass off anything as factual. It's about SUPPORT for one another. There's no need for anyone to be vial. I don't know if you've listened to any of Princes lyrics but I'm pretty sure a majority of his catalog is about "blind faith". Please find your + sign.

I absolutely feel his presence! I can tell when he comes to comfort me. He is so connected to those of us that really love him. And I believe he is helping us through the loss of him.

Although I can readily relate to your annoyance, I disagree.

I think banning members for making completely unfunny, hideously insensitive posts in poor taste is taking it too far.

I also suspect that responding in kind to goading is at best only likely to encourage folks of a more unpleasant disposition to continue baiting, since they are probably only here looking to provoke just such a reaction.

I’m not criticizing you at all. I’m not in any position too, as unfortunately, when I had read that post, inflamed by indignation at such vacuous asininity, I too immediately fell for it and promptly posted a grumpy, sarcastic riposte (stoopid me!).
