Yes...He is with me too..As a Feeling~Hard to describe but I think you know..

Ive had dreams and even questions anwered when Im about to sleep, I see his face, with his afro, and I ask questions and I recieve an answer via a feeling..

I dont ask stupid questions, Im looking for wisdom when I ask..

Its not him in physical form, but its his energy ..I would know it anywhere...

Everyone is tuned in to him in different ways...but he is vibrating HIGH amongst us

Lovely Dreams Angel

Thanks - and exactly!
I'm glad to see others here have had similar experiences and I've enjoyed reading them.

OK. You're saying you died? And saw god? In heaven? Are you sure that it wasn't just blue cheese {or a meal that you ate down the road} before going to sleep — which caused you to have such fantasy-filled dreams?

You're also saying that I get to be the blasphemous, non-believing atheist that I am in this life. Then when I die, I get to totally back-pedal at the last minute and finagle my way into heaven? Schweet! That means I can literally have the best of both worlds!

You've made my day, anangellooksdown. Thanks again : د )

Im on the feel the presence side. Strict science and strict religion people are missing out on a whole lot of waves - be they sound or vibration. Another form of music in some respects.

I think when there is someone who was so gifted and filled with so much life and energy as Prince had; their spirit never fades away. He will always be with us, because he left us a gift that will last a lifetime and beyond. I feel that when there was someone who was such an important part of your life (a parent, spouse, relative, friend/loved one), they are always with you. Our bodies are just a vessel, and when we perish, our soul and spirit lives on. Love never dies. heart prince

.

On a pesonal note, I think that if you are not a religious or spiritual person, you will never understand the way Prince felt and how many of us feel. Prince was a sensitive and old soul. He was a deep-thinker and cared about people and the world. He wasn't perfect. He made mistakes and learned from them and became a better person. I'm not a believer in JW, but I don't go around bashing other people's religion. Prince was a child of God. No one can hurt him anymore. He has no more emotional or physical pain. He loved God and he is with our heavenly Father. I wish him everlasting peace and love. God's love is forever. heart

He must be having trouble processing his newfound ability to be all places at all times and know exactly what we all need to feel better. I'm going to kill myself RIGHT NOW because I too want to be a God.

I really don't understand some of the hateful comments here. But here we go again, with the trolls, who have nothing to add to the conversation, but to belittle other's and make fun of people's religious or spiritual belief's. Some people are really sick in the head. I wish them well.

.

First of all, if you are an athiest, then you have no clue about spirituality or religion, so why are you posting here? Oh, right, because you're trolling (again). rolleyes

.

And, NO, you don't get to go through life and be a bad person, then at the last minute you decide you want to accept God, you ask God for forgiveness, and so he forgives all your sins and lets you into heaven! No, it doesn't work that way. Knowing GOD is a JOURNEY; it's not something you do overnight. God accepts those who accept HIM. But, for those who don't believe, you wouldn't know that. And, if you truly CARED, you would pick up a Bible and READ IT, but you would rather be here, insulting other's, making comments on a subject you clearly know nothing about!!

.

Also, a person who doesn't believe in God, but then accepts God into their life is called "Born Again", in case you didn't know.

.

SMH at the incredibly rude and insensitive people here, who think it's funny to insult other people's beliefs and religion. Where are the Mods?? shake

I totally agree with you CLOVERINGOLD85!! This thread is about feeling close to Prince. Being able to

feel his presence whether it's through his music or his beautiful words or simply his love surrounding

us. Prince believed in God. Prince believed in each person's right to not label and judge others, skin

color, sexual preference, religion, ect. His message of love for everyone. I can agree with giving an

opinion but NEVER the alienation of someone for their beliefs or religion or lack of it. Maybe they need

to go to the threads that discuss religion and politics and stop aggitating folks here.

I agree, Zena!! I just don't understand the need for some to insult other's, especially when it comes to their spiritual beliefs and/or religion. What a dark world they must live in, and a dark soul to match.

I really disagree with this on principle and frankly, it's a bit of an offensive statement. First, this thread is in the Prince Music & More section, not the Politics & Religion section. Second, there should be no religious litmus test for who's allowed to post on what topics. This is a site for Prince fans, not a site just for Christian (born-again or otherwise). The idea that people who follow an atheist philosophy are not allowed to comment on topics because you say they're not, is just not right. It's also not right to imply that people who follow non-Christian or non-monotheistic religions (judaism, hinduism) would be unwelcomed to comment.

-

Please think a little about what tolerance and openmindedness mean, and remember there are people here who follow many different religious or philosophical traditions, not just yours.

I am open-minded about experiences similar to this, however, I think it strikes a nerve with some because the experiences are being presented as factual. The experience is based on someone else's thoughts and feelings with no factual basis. However, I feel it is inappropriate to state that these experiences are impossible because there's no afterlife since this also lacks factual information. I think one just has to accept or reject what resonates with them the most without resorting to being mean and nasty. In reality, nobody is right or wrong here as we have no idea what is in the beyond. It is purely based on faith or lack thereof. I will say this...I do believe in signs from passed on loved ones in our waking life as well as in dreams, however, in my own life, natural occurrences from nature are harder for me to accept as a sign unless it's something really big and unusual. wink

anangellooksdown - I can relate to your experience because the same thing happened to me many years ago, when I was 15 and someone died (also musician, that I felt a strong connection with). I had a really shitty life at the time, I was in an abusive situation, desperately unhappy and couldn't see any way out. He came to me in a dream and to this day (now 21 years ago), I can still feel in my bones how real that was. And I BELIEVED it was him and it moved something in me. Didn't change anything about my situation/my life but it did give me a tiny little glimmer of hope.

.

I didn't have this experience with Prince even though I still think about him every day. But I believe you - whether it is a manifestation of your mind or his, I believe that what you experienced was real. Hold on to it <3

It's Gaelic, and it means "now everybody will know what I'm saying" - changed it to that in celebration of Google Translate adding Gaelic.
